You can do that anyway, by going into the folder you created on Virual PC, or if you installed onto hard drive, then go onto that partition. All the files are there

I'm not sure about Microsoft virtual PC. I use Sun virtualbox, you can run all Linux editions. I installed Ubuntu with Windows Vista as host.

No it is not like partitioning you are just makeing a Virtual Hard Drive(VHD) on your C Drive.partitioning is makeing the hard drive think it is 2 or more hard drives.

if you click your first mouse onto the virtual machine, then your controlling the second os...to get your mouse back out, just press alt.....hopes this helps
