  • That looks good, I use to have a bread maker too and used it a couple of times, it makes great Pitzza doe!

  • @karenchakey

    Hi Karen

have you tried taking the dough out of the bread maker and doing what I did?

I find doing that I can get two smaller loaves, and put one in the freezer, it's east to cut and you only have smaller slices! better for my waist line!

Have to admit I have done a few pizzas, and my last ones I did were spot on!

BTW, These loaves are the best I have done upto now, I am very pleased, the crusts are just perfect toasted, esp with my poor teeth.

    Seeya!

  • Is that breadmaker contraption meant to actually bake the bread, too, as well as knead?

  • @zuditaka

Yes Georges, and you can make jam – not that I’ve tried.

I wanted to try baking in the oven for a better aroma in the kitchen, besides the bread made in the machine does not bake quite like it does in the oven, if I put the ingredients in for an automatic start so that I have fresh bread for breakfast its quite disappointing, and quite a large loaf with unusual proportions to boot too!

  • Can you not use vegetable oil to line the tins with, instead of lard? Isn't lard supposed to be fattening? Hmm. Have you seen those silicone rubber containers they sell, nowadays for cake tins and things? Same stuff they use for breast implants, I think. What's all that FREE and UNLIMITED internet access about? I think I want some nice horseshoe buns done in poppy seeds, please! Is caraway a nice tasting seed, too? I see them for sale in the shop. Dried rosemary makes bread nice and fragrant too.

  • @zuditaka

The silicone rubber is too expensive, and not tried the veg oil instead of the lard, might try that next time I make a loaf in the next few days.

Maybe if I see caraway seeds I will try them out too - and the rosemary seeds too! :o)

  • @HubSwitch It's dried rosemary leaves, not seeds. They taste really nice, and give off a pleasant aroma. Quite delish!

  • awesome music too!

  • @anyonefindAMERICA1

    awww thanks! ;o)

  • Funny, we have the same flour measuring cup. Nice work. I'll be right over for tea and toast! Right after the TSA rapes me!

  • @anyonefindAMERICA1

It's really great bread TBH.. like a shop bought one - but better!
