  • Excellent Tutorial. I just got my After Effects software and am dying to try it. Thanks.

  • I followed this perfectly but my mouth goes flying around the screen like crazy. What am I doing wrong?

  • @TheLiquid9000 Hi play around with the expression value of 10, I found that changing 10 to either 0.3 had the best results for me. when i doubt just play around with the variables

    temp = thisComp.layer("Audio Amplitude").effect("Both Channels")("Slider") * 10;

    [position[0], position[1] + temp]

  • @2penry2 tak you you save my life

  • @TheLiquid9000 Mine is doing that now! Hahahaha makes me laugh so much

  • I loved your tutorial. When it got to the part about pict whipping and the codes showed to add * 10 my computer popped a box that said disabled * and i no animation worked. i tryed changing the 10 to 5 but still says disabled on line 1. awwwww not easy to do. everything else was easy to follow. :o( greengossipgrl@twitter

  • Awesome! You can also use Trapcode's Soundkeys plugin for a lot more control for the audio amplitude. You can visually specify what part of the audio to read (like high bass only) and also add exponential falloff. But it costs some dough.

  • Thanks for explaining some useful shortcuts.

  • hey Robert your the best! thanks for making videos:)
