David is fantastic here, but because he is a "guest" my bet is that's he is holding back so as not to upstage the other artists. David has an uncanny sense of how he fits in to the larger sceme of things, and always errs on the side of modesty. Of course, the audience knows who the real star of this show is. It's always David. When he sings this song on his own tour, he will tear the house down.
