  • Hannah- WE R RINGGOLD NO MATTER WHERE WE R!! (: we r strong

  • i hate to remeber thiss

  • Wow! I got to Ringgold Middle, and it still hurts to watch this. It seems unreal

  • My name is Cody huff I'm in 7th grade right now my school got destroyed :'( but now its back :) it was the saddest thing that ever happens heritage is ringgolds best Freand since they helped ringgold out for us

  • I was here in mid June and there are no words to describe the destruction in Ringgold. I currently live in Athens, GA, but originally from Atlanta. My friend has family in Ringgold and we went up to visit for a little while, and I was in shock the entire time being up there. I will continue to pray for you people of Ringgold. You have a special place in my heart and may God BLESS YOU!!

  • I drove through there today coming home from Chattanooga and it was very sad. Most of the damage was cleaned up, and then there was damage still there. Ringgold is in my prayers!

  • I live in Rossville and after the whole tornado we went to see the damages:( very sadd i still pray for ringgold

  • i live in ringgold and our church new liberty babtist helped build a house for an older couple and it makes me want to cry because my parents were in the tornado and my mom is in a wheel chair i feel so blessed and sorry for others who lost everything because i was lucky that my parents survived. god bless ringgold and love everyone

  • I've lived here all my life, and have seen nothing like it.. I personally saw it touch down and then took shelter. You see all these things on the news from Oklahoma and other states, and you have no idea what it feels like till it happens. And i certainly hope no one ever has to go through this. All the prayers were much needed and apprecieted. Thank you to those who came down to help for clean up! It means so much to our little town.

    God bless.

  • My last day in ringgold was the best day of my life i miss that city

  • I traveled 2 hrs to get there today with a group from my university to help clean up some houses. It is still a disaster, just complete devastation. People tend to forget about things like this once the news stops reporting about it, but Ringgold still needs all the help & prayers they can get. God bless them.

  • Oh my god, just, oh my god.

    I was in the storm

I started crying after a while because of this.

    I wish it never happened...

  • My aunt and my cousins died during the tornado. It sucks. Last time I saw them was about 4 years ago. We were all playing games, watching movies, all that. I wish I could see them again, but I know they aren't coming back. I just hope they went peacefully.

I may not be a God believer as I have my own reasons, but I really do appreciate the thought and prayers of everyone. I really do. Thank you.

  • I live in ringgold but after seeing chereekee valley and apison tn the town isnt any thing jyst.really sad

  • *crying* still seems so unreal. i live not very far from Ringgold. Me and my family are blessed. my heart and prayers go out to all of those affected.

  • i was right in the middle of this when it hit. i live right next to the schools and it breaks my heart to see this. pictures really aren't enough to describe this disaster.. :[

  • wow... this is so heartbreaking... still prayin for those families & people affected by this terrible storm!!

  • Got a friend in Ringgold and haven't heard from her since it happened. Loads of prayers are coming.

  • I live in Tunnel Hill, GA about a mile away from the Catoosa County line. My heart and prayers go for everyone in Ringgold, God Bless.

  • @DearShayleyy At the Fred's in Tunnel Hill there is a Ringgold Relief Donation Drive if you'd like to help out. It is not there today (5-3-11) because of the rain but tomorrow it will be back up until dark.

  • keepingRinggold in my prayers

  • i lived in Chatt for a while and i am stunned by it all... im glad that those who made it out, did. my condolences to those who's family did not make it out.

  • I have family in Ringgold and Im very thankful they weren't hit by the tornados.

  • I was in the city the night it happened to see if I could help anyone, and it is truly like a bad dream. I can't even begin to put into words how bad this is. I have lived here my entire life and this goes beyond anything I have ever imagined fathomable. My alma mater, my old hang outs, my friends houses..... it is just simply beyond what words can describe.

  • Our hearts are with you all.

  • I am an atheist. That aside, Jesus,it brings tears to my eyes to see what people are going through. I make fun of the south all the time. But you guys are my neighbors as Americans. And I am sorry this happened and I'm bringing a load of water (I'm a trucker) down. I'll see you soon.

  • @joelaform666 Thank you so much! I know the people of Ringgold will greatly appreciate it.

  • We are your neighbors just 15 miles North of you, Dalton is praying for you.

  • @jananealification Thank you!(:

  • Basically family, I meant.

  • I still can't believe this happened. I lived in ringgold the past five years, only moved almost two months ago. Even though I moved, ringgold is home to me. I have so many friends there, that are basically happy. So it hurts me just as if I were there. I lost a friend in this, and that makes it that much worse. I feel as if it just a dream, that when I get there next week, everything will be okay. I wish it were so. I'm not religious at all, but please everyone, pray for ringgold, it is home.

  • I left Ringgold about 6 years ago and was happy to move to Florida....however now seeing all of this, and realizing how much that city comes together in times of need make me miss it so much. I don't know what it is about Ringgold...but that tiny little town makes everyone feel like family....I want to move back so bad now. God Bless you all in Ringgold

  • My prayers are with all my family, friends and everyone in Ringgold, I grew up here and graduated from Ringgold High School, I love this beautiful town ! This was the only place that has ever really been home to me even though I no longer live there my heart will always be there. God Bless Ringgold always.

  • I am so sorry for the loss of lives, injuries and destruction . My heart and prayers are with you.

  • @TheGang4Girls Thank you very much

  • god blees

  • 0.44 is my house and i got to look up intp the tornado as it ripped off my roof and i got hit in the back with a tree limb and the other 9 people in there didnt get hurt besides my uncle bc a wall fell on him but he is ok and my 80 and 75 yr old great aunt and great grandma didnt get a scratch so we are all blassed.

  • @dre91309 Im sorry about your house. Im so glad your family is safe.

  • @dre91309 My prayers to you and your family.

  • Is there an organization for disaster relief, donations or volunteer cleanup? I can't seem to find anything, and I'd like to help.

  • @mrbldixon What is wrong with you? Trying to start crap with a video of this... Sad. Truly, I can't help but pity someone like you. Just leave.

  • @FerumInvicta if yu are going to give credot for good, should give credit for the bad too, after all "he " is in control of everything right?!?

  • If you want the religious arguments to stop, then stop arguing? Don't feed the trolls. Whether you believe in God, Zeus, or the Flying Spaghetti monster there are people who are hurting because of this. In light of that, religion, or lack of it is irrelevant.

  • I'm from Canton,GA which is south-west Cherokee County. The tornadoes were heading right toward us and it went over us. I hope you and your family is ok. Georgia is going to take a while to recover. Same for people in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

  • @vegetariandinosaur Thats good. My family is alright. Thank you.

  • @Matthewcranfield Thank you very much

  • I wish I could be there to help my friends when they need it the most. I grew up there, went to school there, made family there. I hope everyone is okay and I send my sincerest condolences to whomever has lost someone dear to them.

    -Tiffani Gowens

  • @Tiffisms Thank you

  • Sending love and prayers to this community.

  • @Marmaduke48 Thank you

  • @digitalanthony95 Thank you very much.

  • People are living through this tragedy..that is what this video is about. Why be petty and complain about the music? There is so many things we should be worrying about right now. Like all the families who lost a loved one, and everything they own. Come on people quit being so shallow.

  • everytime something bad happens, "god has a plan" or "he is testing us" or " he wont put on us more than we can take". When ANYTHING good happensit's: "god did it". Wake up!

  • @mrbldixon Please stop the religious argument. You profile says your 42 not 8. Nevermind, I know 8 year olds who respect other people's religions better than you.

  • @OhDanggDeborah , I am in deep sorrow for the people who have been affected by this tragedy. I

  • I have lived here all my life, went to school here, all my family and friends are here. I feel like we are in a bad dream, in just one night our Community and Town is removed. We need to strengthen together and help those who are in need. I pray for those families who have lost loved ones. God will answer our prayers.

Love, and thoughts will be in my prayers. God Bless Ringgold Matt H

  • I grew up here, went to ringgold schools... every memory i have... is there.

And yes I still believe in God after this. Ever think maybe God has a plan? If you know anything about the Bible when the end of the world is near all kinds of natural disasters will keep happening... not saying its the end of the world.. just saying God Always Has A Plan!

  • Gotta love all the Christian and atheist kooks fighting one another on here. Lulz. Fighting on the innernutz is like Special Olympics, no matter who wins, at the end of the day, you're still a retard.

Also, consider changing the Lilith Fair track, plz. It's not a bad song, but about every third disaster vid on here has it.

  • @musicphan1 I know and its quite annoying v.v Im sorry about the music choice .

  • @mrbldixon you listen to me you god has a reason for everything this will do nothing but bring our community stronger . im sorry you've never felt a love that strong for something.

  • Praying hard for Ringgold. I live in Dalton but I go through Ringgold every Wednesday to go to school. This really brings tears to my eyes. God Bless.

  • @jennel802009 Thank you

  • Please open your eyes and see that the devastation coming to the world and the USA is prophecy of YHWH, there is no such thing as mother nature. Don't be caught dead without repentance toward YHWH!!! Read His Holy Word! It's only going to get worse, do not rebel!

  • @bighungary29 Please no rude, immature comments. This is a serious video. Your page says your 30 not 11.

  • @rebelyeller77 Yeah..its horrible..and I will. Ricky?? Jasper says hi.

  • My prayers are with everyone there and the other places that were hit. Ringgold is my hometown and I know that it's a strong city and will rise from this. I pray that God wraps his arms around everyone and that the community comes together and shows how strong they are. Hard to see all the things and places I loved is nothing but rubble now....

  • @Yalayna87 Thank you and Im sorry.

  • Our hearts are heavy & eyes swelled with tears for Ringgold, Apison, Bradly Cty, MS, AL -- the entire southern states hit with such power from Mother Nature. The devastation & sorrowful pain is gripping. No words from some of us that lucked out on this round in Collegedale proper... but families of our churches, friends & co-workers have all suffered great losses. Ringgold is our old stomping ground. May Gods healing touch bring comfort, miracles & eventual peace to each of you.

  • This is where Ive grown up and most of the places where I have had memories are destroyed it's soo very sad our small lil town got smacked sooooooo very hard I'm praying so very hard 4 every single person out there or even close 2 it I haven't been able 2 c the damage till now it's really bad :/:/

  • @softballdiva105 So sorry you're having to live thru this. I was born/raised in Lubbock TX where 3 twisters hit us at one time May 11, 1971. Our church, homes & city were destroyed; friends lost in the storms. Can only relive the memories to feel a fraction of how everyone must actually feel today.

We witnessed miraculous things thru our time of healing. Our prayer is you don't lose hope & courage. That Gods Angels will hold you tight & fill each with the strength to carry on.

  • @Serafinos Thank you, and that must have been horrible.
