  • Wow! I cant believe you made those gears with just a band saw and drill press. Please please please make a video showing how you do it - only then will I believe.

  • @johnpanter When I have a bit of spare time I will make video...It is not difficult, you just have to have a good eye and not slip!

  • awesome

  • amazing work.

  • Very Very Cool!!!!

  • A wonderful innovative mechanical work.

  • astounding! okay, it's probably not the most accurate timepiece (there're bound to be minute variations in the impulse transfer, and the amplitude of the pendulum excedes

isochronal limitation), but i'm sure it holds up well enough.r egardless, the concept is brilliant, and the excecution, nothing short of art. djohnson16mindspring has the right idea: this piece is ideally suited for (but certainy not limited to) an outdoor installation.

  • bloody hell, that's probably the coolest clock I've ever seen in my entire live

  • This is fantastic, I love the simplicity beauty of it. And the water drive, I've been wracking my brain for something to do as a "water feature" in my yard, I might just have to steal your pendulum concept. I hope that's OK.

  • Love the simplicity. The stainless and acetal are an excellent complement to the mechanical design.
