  • favorite fishbone album

  • I got this album on vacation, as well as FNM Angel Dust. I was 12, it was a good week.

  • so weird to think this is black people....they never make music like this.

  • @TheDowntown86 Yes most black people don't make music like this anymore...but you are forgetting that black people invented rock.

  • @stateq2 Derp. "Most black people" Is such a fucking unnecesary term. There are as many who made that kind of music now as there was then, but the media is not focusing on it :P

  • @SinisterGrapefruit very true

  • Chris Dowd, who is singing this song, has a new band called the Ultra Infidels. There is a clip on youtube. Look up Ultra Infidels Sample Platter.

  • first mosh pit, '93 metropol, pittsburgh PA. biohazard opened. one of the greatest days of my life.

  • PUTAIN CE QUE C'EST BON ! CHRIS DOWD & ANGELO MOORE should rule this fucking world ! Not sorry 'bout rude language but only for writing in Lafayette's language !

  • See ya in the pit......

  • Sounds as good as it did 18 years ago. This album kept me alive during some dark days in my 20s.

  • i wish they'd do more songs like this one...

  • crossover metal sound...awesome song..my favourite one

  • Sevendust has nothing on these black rockers!!!

  • The most underrated band. They did Ska and rock!

  • @thecoldesticeever Um they DO not DID, and they DO, Rock, Fusion, Gospel, Funk, Metal, Ska, Punk, Prog, Hip Hop. The most versatile band in History!

  • @xeridian Have to respectfully disagree. FUNKADELIC!!! But these guys are tough-tough-tough and will grind any band over the past 25 years into dust. Was blasting Psychologically Overcast, Unyielding Condition, Love Hate, Rock Star, Party with Sadaam on the way home from work.

  • @clh2192 That's a bit iffy but you make a good point, yet Parliament never did metal and not really punk or ska either to be fair! :P Sure they have little moments here and there but they didn't write songs that were each in their own genres. You can cross 5 or 6 different genres listening to a single Fishbone album, other than funk some things Parliament did/does you can't fit into a genre at all. lol Kinda like Frank Zappa.

  • @xeridian Is there something that Bernie Worrell, Garry Shider, Eddie Hazel, Bootsie, Phelps, Fred Wesley, Maceo, Michael Hampton...etc. can't play- LOL? And they started off as a doo-wop group. Maybe I'm biased, but to me P-Funkadelic will blow away anybody, and they went in every direction- Eulogy and Light, Knee Deep, Maggot Brain, Fantasy is Reality, Vital Juices, Put Love in Your Life, Up For The Downstroke, Good Ol Music...etc. The Bomb!

  • @clh2192 You're right, but Fishbone Soldiers will keep that funk alive !

  • @clh2192 You're right, but Fishbone Soldiers will keep that funk alive !

  • Fuck Yeah. This song is awesome!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome album!!!!

  • I always loved this song man, havent heard it in years... thanks for posting!!

  • There is a From Zero song that sounds just like this!!

  • @guzzbuster For real??? ... I LOVED From Zero. Was very disappointed that they didn't 'catch on' (marketability-wise, ya know?). Their music packed awesome punch ~ Fast, creative, insanely tight, GORGEOUS harmonies.... just never understood why Jett & the boys never took off. One Nation Under was a fucking killer album...

I can DEFINITELY hear (now that I think about it) how Fishbone was probably influential to their sound!

Saw Fishbone in GR, Mich.. "Bitches With Problems" opened for them. LoL.

  • This song is heavy I'm new to Fishbone but they are most innovative only band that know of that has the skill to push the music boundries insted of staying with what is the norm.

  • This song could have been named :"France 2007-2012"

  • I miss these guys

  • this is really cool music ..i like this, the lyrics are awesome!

  • This album had was a huge departure from the traditional FB sound but damn was it good. I still have a scar from landing on athe stage barricade after falling off the crowd right after this came out. Drummer go hard ass fuck at 3:30!

  • amazing

  • Hard and orgasmic !

  • Babylon then- Habbakkuk 1, 2 & 3

    Babylon now- Rev. 17 & 18

  • Give a monkey a brain and they WILL think that they are the centre of the universe. AKA britney, lady gaga, spice hos, all hos, pussycat hos, hos aloud, etc.

I had this album, entered the contest for an acoustic bass, what ever happened to this amazing band

  • I just saw them in St. Pete...Yay, Florida!... TOOO much love 4 this song...

  • I played the hell outta this album. Lemon Meringue is my favorite of this cd as well.

  • Plz upload "Lemon Meringue" as well.

  • Thanks !

The exact title is "End the reign" the "of" in your tags makes people who search skip your upload.

  • Great sound. Thank you.

  • this group is so under-rated but supertalented...they marry rock to funk...match made in heaven

  • That song brings back 1995 Eifelish village disco memories. Great! Thank you!

  • Hey guys our band covered this song back in 1995 and no one knew they were and I say it still rocks and fun to play live. Check it out "Mother Reign End The Reign" on Youtube.....

  • Damn, that song is good !

    It s pure dope !

Am I the only Youtubber diggin it or what ?!?

  • HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL NAW, this is the shit right here!!! I got all of their Columbia/Sony output in my private collection as a matter of fact. Album this song came from was unfortunately their last for that label. Only real problem with the whole thing was that it came out 7 years TOO DAMN EARLY, LOL!!! That was always Fishbone's problem; they were usually so far out at the front of the pack that even the heavily trend-fixated music industry couldn't properly keep pace...

  • Fuck yeah mang, such an underappreciated band, totall musicianship, beautiful voices.I saw this tour right after Kendall "went crazy".Great show still.

  • @PeekaPeep Yeah but we were down with it seven years early, right? There was nothing like this in '93. This album so blew the lid off of convention.

  • How ?By telling the band that this song is just as good as "servitude" and that with years passing by, it still has fascinating qualities harmonically. I find its lyrics pretty good actually and this dark ambience would bring something

very different from the soul/funk songs they already master on stage.

By telling them that they could bring the holy ghost on stage with this and that they could freak the audience out !

  • Bring that song back to the setlist, pleaaaaaaaaaaaase!

  • I'll do it, but how i bring it to the set list.?
