The Redbird train still exists. There are at least 114 Redbird trains left. I wish I could drive one of those trains. I love the Redbirds because they are the best trains in the New York City system. The Redbirds are very strong.
9340's interior's however, is still intact, so hopefully 9340 can also double up for a railfan excursion, I'm glad some of these newly retired R33/#6 units still have their interiors untouched to enable railfan excursions (eg the train of Many Colors)
It's a train you just can't refuse taking a video of. Just kidding....it's the train the picks up the trash from the tracks. The 8834 and 8835 have had their insides removed, so that trash can be placed in them.
