Avon is great and so is BA, but in 2010, in my opinion, the show should have gone to L.D. Bell for their performance AND what it stood for......just sayin'.

A huge applause should go to the William Mason High School Marching Band, they got their highest ranking ever at grand nationals-14th. Amazing job guys!

@DAYL069 I don't like BOA at all. The whole idea is just ridiculous. It is forcing many high school marching bands to conform to its standards, not to to mention that it influences DCI into becoming more band-like. Amplification is an example.

good job to all the kids and also for the parents and band directors! one thing though felt like Marian Catholic Highschool should have been in the top five at least. I agree the judging wasn't really fair, other schools should have made it in as well.

pretty amazing event, I must admit, but I wish there was more regulation to the judging.... it annoys me a bit how they can play favorites and they can also mark down a band if they don't like their show, as opposed to if their marching was good or not... there were some bands this year that REALLY should have made finals but didn't. But I am glad Avon and Broken Arrow did well, they're both very good
