Imo they just screwed up things with Alma in F.3.A.R. She is no longer scary at all. Instead of that Harlan is made the only evil person/ghost in that game. But to tell you the truth i always thought that there was an underlying innocence that came along with her murder. I don't know maybe that's just me. It's pure aspect for cooperation walkthrough, though, because if you play single player as Pointman, it is obvious that you will have your ending. And if you play as Fettel (also in single player) you will have his ending.
@Dimi3Infitive It depends on which ending you are talking about. In Fettel's ending (very end of the video) he eats her. In Pointman ending he is about to eat her, but got "killed" by his brother (Pointman).
This is how the game should have ended: Everything happens in the same way up to the ending except that Fettel doesn't kill Becket. Fettel makes Becket witness the child's birth. Fettel and Point Man engage into a struggle. Point Man kills Fettel. As the Point Man is about to kill the baby, Becket reconsiders, and begs the Point Man NOT to do it. And then everything happens the same, but only Becket is the one to deliver and carry the baby. Sappy, yes, but it would have been Nice :D
