I play blackbird this way (by this way I mean sliding up and down for the walk up the fretboard thing and with the strumming) I don't know how to scientifically put it, but that's the best I could come up with. @whyyeseyec With respect to all here present, though this version may pass in the pop world for a nice bit, it does not accomplish the same thing as Paul's version, nor probably would any version, no matter how accurately mimiced from Paul's. In my experience, it is always true that the most interesting and musical bits are difficult to play initially which is why most give up on them. Learning the right way is instructive though, and there are several videos of that on Youtube.
