I just hope that in this obsession to catch up with the West, Dubai doesnt sell its soul and forgets about its history and heritage. There is no point of being flashed with cash if you sell your soul. I hope in the years to come Dubai retains its character, culture and heritage

With all that money they are spending you would think they would build a city where the spaces created relate to each other and the buildings can complement each instead of spaces clashing and the buildings competing with each other for attention.
