Mongolian and Turkish people(HUNS)may be brothers but their races are differant.Turks(HUNS) are in the turanid type of caucasoid race, but mongols are in mongoloid race.Turks appeared by the mixing of finno-ugorics with some amerindians. However Mongols appeared after some another amerindians evaluated into mongoloids. Even if we say turks and mongols are distant relatives, we can claim such a relativity also for turks and russians or turks and scandinavians because of Turks’ finno-ugoric roots.
The word "turk" is a general name of all the people who come from uygurs, kypchaks, kumans, tatars, all oguz(uz) turks and central asian people (except mongols). Turkistan=Turkland is the oldest name of Central asia, caucasia and southern russia One more point, we teach the history of huns to our children in turkey as one of the proudy parts of turkish history. There are a lot of males in turkey whose names are "atilla"
Hungarians were turkish tribes that mixed with uralic tribes. They were totally 10 tribes. 7 tribes were turkish, 3 tribes were uralics. Surprisingly, 7 turkish tribes were effected by those 3 uralic tribes in all ways. By the way, turks come from the mixing of many finno-ugorics and some amerindians in very old past. So turks(in turkey, caucasia, central asia, balkans, moldova, south and east russia) are relatives of not only hungarians but also all finno-ugoric people.
@Pitkipatkany van közünk hozzájuk, ők is és mi is a turáni népekhez tartozunk azaz a lovas nomád népekhez, és velük van a legtöbb közös szavunk a világon :) de az hülyeség h mi ők vagyunk... mert nem.
@Pitkipatkany ya your right, the huns were more similar to modern mongolians/chinese than to turkish people, or even Butler himself. Atila was described as short with big sholders and dark skin
@kovtam07 not really what? "There is no surviving first-person account of Attila's appearance. There is, however, a possible second-hand source, provided by Jordanes, who cites a description given by Priscus. It suggests a person of Asian features.
Short of stature, with a broad chest and a large head; his eyes were small, his beard thin and sprinkled with grey; and he had a flat nose and tanned skin, showing evidence of his origin"
@Pitkipatkany no my friend thereis linguistically and culturally links between turks and huns, just like Hungary, you know why like it or not but we both descended from them so you may love us or hate us but we cousins, sorry if it dissappointed you:)
@kovtam07 Huns were turks, it's truth. they had turkish roots, language etc. ask historian specialists about this. Attila is still popular name in Turkey...

Hy, I'm Attila from Hungary. My name too Attila.
The idea that the Hun's are the root's of Turkey is the Biggest shit that i ever heard :)
We was never any contact with the turkey, our culture is much much older than their.....
Our language is sui generis, it the root's from the maya's.
Dont speak this silliness.
