When did it become imperative for the trumpets to stand? I played in big bands for years and we never had to stand except for the soloists.

@kaunasprince normally for jazz bands, the trumpets will stand. I'm not sure why though.

I would recognize this composition without any information. I've played this specific version so countless times and I still love it. Great performance though.
