  • very dark and sad

  • When I listen to this piece of music, I'm getting angry. Angry of Henry that he ordered the execution of Anne.

  • Well, here's the rub, in my opinion. The adulterous acts which were considered treason wouldn't have been considered either since their marriage was declared invalid. Either way, Henry wanted things finished with Anne, this was a quicker way to do it. We will never be able to tell just why he chose this path, most historians are still arguing about Anne Boleyn's age. I just enjoy the time period in general and try not to view anyone as a saint or a complete sinner.

  • This song is my own inner execution.

  • I too am going as Anne Boleyn to Halloween. It's a pity i'm a boy though.....

  • For everyone who's interested in Ann boleyn there is a novel called "The secret Diary of Anne Boleyn" it seems pretty good.

  • Natalie Dormer is amazing ,,, I loved her so much as Anne , I wish Anne Boleyn hadn't have died so early on ,, I wanted her to stay on a while longer . :P

  • does anybody know the music exactly when anne dies...i think it's some choir or so...

  • @MarquiseLilium It´s Anuna with the song Jerusalem :)

  • @ELECTRICGIRLXXX thank you very much =)

  • i find it interesting that everyone always picks the wife they love then casts shame on all the others for being totally horrible to the last (or next) one. But how come no one ever says anything about how it was actually Henry that did all this stuff to these women

    ?

  • @FireAndIce0o0 i know. u have some sense in u. i admit i have gotten into a few heated arguments over fave wives but i have always pointed out that ppl should stop picking a wife and her child and putting them up like they r the best. and also that ppl should consider the damage henry has done

  • i miss her so much

  • @abccba9876543210 Me too :(

  • @Lanakikuta your english is fine

  • @scaryjuly u cant even answer ur own question ha. well all im saying is that jane gave him the son he wanted, yeah he did threaten jane but sure every1 knows that anyway. and he did love his kids every1 knows that. huh its not hard to understand is it?!

  • @scaryjuly wtf? every1 knows that, i was just saying that he loved jane because she gave him a son, yeah he loved anne but sure he beleived she commited all them crimes (which obviously she did'nt) and yeah he did threaten her but what im saying is that he loved her the most because she gave him a son, why do u think he married 6 wives for?! God its not hard

  • @aimz151 i think he did love anne the most almost obessive in the nature of love he showed her. but then his intense love turnes to immense hatred. do u get what i'm saying he loved and hated her the most. and lets not forget that to hate shows that you still bear great emotion and feeling for someone. if he were void of all feeling for her (which he clearly never could bring himself to do) he would have had only indifference

  • @fleurgi well yeah he loved anne but it was obsessive love but it wasnt love love do u get me? its sorta hard to explain.

  • @aimz151 yeah i understand. my fave wife would have to be katherine of aragon bc she was a strong and proud woman and also a wronged woman. i never side with cheaters (henry and anne in this case although i loved them together on the show). she did nothing wrong to deserve that sort of treatment from henry. kind've off topic i know. as for jane i think he did love her but only for one reason which frankly is not good enough for me.

  • @aimz151 a physicall love... perhaps?

  • @fleurgi I agree, he had such deep feelings for her. He would never be able to forget. He loved her so strongly it definitley left its mark. Even when he hated her, he could never truly leave her behind.

  • @fleurgi but her death i think haunted him the most....

  • Fuckin hell, im telling facts here and everyone is givin me a thumbs down.

Then how come when he was married to Katherine Parr , he had a family portrait of him, edward, elizabeth, mary and Jane Seymour. So answer that! Jane gave him the son he always wanted. Yeah he did love anne but he was glad to be rid of her, If you all actually read factual books you will all read that. remember people had diaries back then, jeez

  • hahaa it is always the same...but I agree

  • @Cathiiliiciiouz well im glad some1 agrees with me lolz

  • here some real facts (i read factual books)

henry loved his daughters more than his son, everyone knows that, for edward he was the king, for mary and elizabeth he was a father. and henry said to catherine howard if she gave him a son he would prefer him to become king and not edward. and he often threatened jane "keep out of it or have you fogotten what happened to anne boleyn", that he often said to her... now answer who did he really love???

  • @scaryjuly i read somewhere that he loved Elizabeth best out of his children:) and he was quite cruel to Jane Seymour, no matter what they show on The Tudors.

  • Powerful song for a beautiful powerful woman.

  • What? I don't think it's powerful!

  • But I do think Anne is a powerful Queen!

  • If only Henry knew that the gene which decides the sex of the foetus is actually in the sperm, and not in the egg, he would have let this poor lady her head ...

Since he was made Head of the Church, couldn't he just divorce her ? No, he had to kill her.

He was so spoiled and spineless ...

  • So true!

  • @ninicita8888 You cannot possibly compare Tudor times to today. He killed her because she was unfaithful to him (which I will admit has not been 100% proved), however..you cannot say he was 'spoiled and spineless' as he was a king. It was expected of them to make a fearful example and to get everything they wanted. Perk of the job you could say, he had massive responsibility to, you mustn't forget. Anyway, he stated the marriage was never legal so there was no need to divorce her.

  • @Snowymany5 Her rumoured offenses were considered treason aswell, so if he had not executed her he would be letting her get away with treason. He was manipulated by everyone because Anne was a threat to the catholic faith in England, but I'm sure you know that. Yeah he ordered the execution, but he can't take all the blame. Cromwell was the biggest traitor to the reformist movement for turning on Anne to save his own ass.

  • @UnyieldingDefiance Indeed, I agree. I hate prats who slander Henry VIII though without any grounds. Such a naive view don't you think?

  • Long live Queen Anne!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the most politically savvy women of her time

She rose to power very quickly for a good reason, she was so unique and such an intelligent woman

    Rest in peace Anne

  • Such a beautiful powerful song, for a beautiful powerful woman.

  • Anne Boleyn was the first ever Queen of england to be executed

  • Anne Boleyn was accused of adultery and witchcraft. She was accused of this because Henry wanted her out of the way because she was one of those unfortunate women who cant have boys (that is a real condition she had) and henry couldnt be arsed to divorce her and send her to a nunery. He wanted her blood. These were trumped up charges (they were made up) Mark smeaten confessed to sleeping with her because he was being tortured and he cudnt take the pain much longer. She died for no reason.. Peace

  • I thought they also accused her of incest?

  • @SparklingLamb Yes she was accused of incest with her brother George. She told the king she was pregnat just to make him happy but she wasnt pregnant and the king would not sleep with 'in fear of losing the baby' and so anne had to find some1 she cud rely on and that person was George. He was horrified at what she was tryin to say to him but obviously he cudnt go through with and they did not have sex but some1 over earheard george sayin that he cudnt do it. so thats why George was executed too.

  • @aimz151 no thats not true .. thats a stroy in The Other Boleyn Girl .. nothing like that happened, it was the close relationship Anne and George had that made Cromwell trump up the charges

  • she was accused by witchcraft by the king himself but many ppl in that era mourned her death especialy she dint shout as a witch but they shout her as martyr

  • ich hab so lange nach dieser melodie gesucht :) wie schön sie endlich gefunden zu haben :)

  • QUEEN ANNE FOREVER. the most known queen of england . she was the woman that henry most loved and most hated

  • @balenguer The wife he loved best was Jane Seymour not Anne Boleyn. Jane gave him a son so she was given the most respect

  • So... He loved her for giving him a son.. The love he had for Anne was so much more passionate and strong! He was much happier and alive when he was in bloom love with her. Jane was just a stable person in his life that gave him is son.

  • I love that statement most loved and most hated, I agree with you totally

  • long live Queen Anne!

  • henry was a selfish man, that t only cares about a son, treating is wifes like a receptacle...he only stay sad when Jane died because she gave him a son!!

  • Im going as Anne Boleyn for Halloween, had the dress made and everything. This scene is so powerful, Natalie Dormer is amazing

  • Great !! :D

I had made a dress fom Marie Antoinette for this year. =D

  • @BoundlessFreedom I <3 that movie! which dress? It must of been pretty hard to make.

  • @candyqueen191 did you get the dess from anne boleyn files .com?

  • This piece is so pretty yet sad.

  • Just imagine being loved by henry with so much passion one minute - all the letters he sent her and the way he treated her, and then hated and despised the next. So much so that your husband wants you dead!

  • @onlyicouldmanagethat What did Jane and Catherine do?

  • @onlyicouldmanagethat why do u despise jane seymour..she was an excellent woman to.... ???

  • @onlyicouldmanagethat I'm reading a book about ann boleyn's life. the book was written by Suzannah Dunn. maybe you'll like it. I don't know the english title... but starts by Ann Boleyn xD. sorry my english is quite bad

  • what a sad piece of music, it really goes well with her final walk. no idea what was in her head then, but she probably couldn't believe what a high price she had to pay for her marriage with Henry, the tyrant of England.

  • Even Jane was starting to lose favour with Henry because she "was not pregnant yet". If I recall the scene, Jane and Henry were dining:

Jane: "Why will you not speak to me?"

Henry: "Because I am disappointed. You are not yet with child."

I never got used to Jane. Hate her and always will.

    Anne Boleyn forever <3

  • Not really poor girls for the last one tho ;)

    she was lucky!!

  • it is more then beautiful :)

  • so sad and beautiful! TEAM ANNE always

  • i adored Anne so much. what a shame that she died. Henry is a manwhore, i will say. he find a new hot chick, the one before "disappears".

  • I agree

  • why, thank you! =D
