I don't know how to describe this. The Karoo is a difficult place to understand. Once you stand on those incredible vistas with absolute know interference from the artificial world, it's just you, the northern breeze, your thoughts and the thunderous silence. It makes you feel tiny but yet so alive. You want to stay there for ever, yet there is no way you can stay there. Truly incredible place.
me too dude...this was the sunday late afternoon special. this is the best travel programme to come out of south africa. living outside of south africa and watching this programme cultivates a greater appreciation for home.
