@Bubort I don't think you have the right to call this way of painting a "disgrace" since there are endless ways to paint flowers whatsoever. Furthermore, this is a one stroke technique which therefore is only one of many ways to draw.

Also, if you decide to try this doesn't mean we're all drawing the same thing. We always mix or own style with our works, even if it's not clear to see for other eyes.

she most likely used Folk Art Acrylics with a floating medium. (that's most common for her) the float medium is sold with Folk Art paints and at this time (spring 2011) it runs about $2.50/bottle

Donna Dewberry did not invent the one stroke. It was invented hundreds of years ago. If you think Donna Dewberry is amazing you havent met my instructor Barbara Tautic. She is WAYYY better than Dewberry, na has over 30 years experience in painting tin, floorclothes, antiquing, detailing, major shading and making ceramic dolls. So research her and you can even go to her classes! :D
