Are you kidding me?!?!?! How can you start at level 18 with no lines?!?!?!?! This is obviously a falsification!! No true NES console can start at level 18!! As some people have commented, levels 18-28 are almost humanly impossible!! And why exactly does whoever is "playing" the game immediately give up when it reaches level 29?!?! @madfan07 I don't know the exact thing, but if you press up and A on the level you select, it starts 10 levels above the level you select. Also, it is humanly impossible to play at level 29, and it doesn't even matter because he got the max score.

he survived on lvl 30 .. at this age i only managed to reach lvl 25 but it was still very fast ( idk which tetris version this was .. bought it in year 2001 i think

The thing about Tetris is it's all about getting the right pieces. Sometimes it's not how good you are at all, it's just if you have a good game and don't get wrong pieces at the wrong time. Impressive, no doubt, but something like Pac-Man or Donkey Kong where you have to have the right skills all the time is more impressive imo.

Basically levels 19-28 are the same speed. It's humanly impossible to beat 29. No level is faster than 29; that's where the speed for the game maxes out.

I can do pretty good up to levels 16-18 (which are all the same speed and the fastest levels other than 19-28) but I still cant do 19-28. Those are the fastest humanly possible levels in this game. If you can beat those levels, there's no tetris game in existence for any console that can stop you.

this is impossible, NES tetris awards you 7200 ish points per tetris. after 80 lines, your max score could only be around 150,000, and according to the game you are at like 450,000. it's impossible unless you cheat. which you must have done... just thought u should know

You have no idea what you're talking about. How you could have ever played NES Tetris and not realized that the point rate increases each level is completely beyond me. At level eighteen, you score a little over 22,000 for every Tetris. It obviously gets even higher during the later stages.

His point total is obviously legitimate, and it was verified by Twin Galaxies besides. Harry Hong is a Tetris god, deal with it.

to richmond436: it's easy to cheat on a game like this if you are using any sort of gameshark (or, in this case, a game genie would work for this game in its prime)...i wanted to see how far a player had gotten into tetris and can you reach the max score (999,999) without using any game enhancers like the gameshark, etc.
