Sylvannas was a high elf that lived in Quel' Thalas. Sylvannas became High Ranger of Silvermoon. During the Second War, The Rangers of Quel' Thalas Supported the Alliance against the original Horde invasion of Azeroth.

After the War, The Rangers defected from the Alliance to defend Silvermoon. Along comes Arthas, kills her and brought her back as a banshee slave to the lich king. Again she defected to form the Forsaken. The attack in this video was the Forsaken Apothecary Society not Sylvannas

Varimarthas is not killed in the Battle to reclaim the Undercity, he escapes back into Outlands were he will be punished by the leader of the Burning Legion. 3rd the "Forsaken" Undead forces who betrayed the Horde at Angrathar were not under the command of Sylvannas Windrunner, but betrayed her too, nearly killing her and leaving many undead still loyal to the Horde as refugees, which is obvious if you were on the Horde side, as you would see the hundreds of Undead Refugees in Orgrimmar.

Ok 1st Sylvannas is NOT the undead guy in the cinematic, Sylvannas is a person of the FEMALE persuasion, she was ONCE a BLOOD ELF but was killed by Arthas when he assualted the Sunwell. 2nd the Undead dudes' real name is Putress, the developer of the plauge which was deployed here. VArimarthas is indeed a traitor, however he is not the one at Angrathar, he is the dreadlord who was once next to Sylvannas in UC.

I can use a bit of help, I was doing a quest that follows this movie. The one after you talk to Thrall, where (If you are on Alliance.) you go with the King of Stormwind into the cavern to kill Fordragons assasins. Well the quest glitched and I got dced, and I could not log onto that character for some time. After sometime I could again but had to abandon the quest to do it again. Sadly found out I cannot find where to pick up the quest again.

If you did the follow up quest for the horde you would understand that sylvanas was betrayed by her demon ally. She was betrayed by rebel Forsaken and kicked out of the undercity. She went to Thrall and asked for assistance.
