This is a pretty good song but the strumming is way to hard. Sounds obnoxious and harsh, expecially compared to the singing. Try strumming with the flesh of your thumb or the top side of your index finger's nail (hold your hand like you are holding a plectrum [the universal 'ok' gesture'] and strum away)
