Man, I know you posted this 3 years ago...but great job. Other than Randy and sometimes Zakk, no one ever seems to get the 3-4-4-4 pattern on the open "A" string between chords...On most of the "Crazy Train" covers on here, the guitarists try to fake it with an eighth note or two instead of the 4 16th notes as Randy wrote it...Thanks for playin' it right, man...that brightened my day!

@MrJoshiey don't be surprised! it's like using a whammy bar. and in guitars with bolt-on neck it's easier(sg for example), in les pauls, that the neck is glued on the body it's more difficult and you should not do it using too much force because the neck might break...

I like Epiphone, afordable, they play and sound like a Gibson , and if you drop it its not the end of the world, I dont mind the string noise in the vid, they sound new and crisp , never mind what some other people say , you made a good vid. its Youtube not a stadium.

I'm a Randy Rhoads purist, HOWEVER, I can't justify bending AND POSSIBLY SNAPPING THE NECK OF A $2000+ GUITAR that I earned with my own money (I happen to own a 2007 Gibson Les Paul Supreme in Alpine White that set me back $3200).  BUT, if you're gonna do it with a Les Paul, do it with the LP Custom....It's like strapping yourself to a giant redwood tree. You could probably break down walls with it =)

Epis are great guitars, after a couple minor upgrades they are very comparable to gibsons. I own a few Gibsons and my Epis hold their own very well.

Better than Fender? haha... i hope this is a joke. Also, it depends what epi you mean. If you're talking about Epi Special/ Studio, believe me, they are not better than any Squier. The more expensive Epiphones, like this in the video are really cool guitars, but i wouldn't say a guitar made in china is better than some Fenders ( Mexico/ USA ).

Quiet a few notes were skipped during sections of the solo by shortcutting....I suggest searching for an isolated guitar track from the recording on YouTube, downloading the audio, and slowing it down if you need to.

But SERIOUSLY, fix your damn string rattling lol....Get that thing adjusted!!

Hey guitargod.......i love your sound......ive been trying to achieve that randy rhoads sound......what is your setup and amp settings.......does it matter if you have a tube or solid state amp to get good harmonic squeals.....do you think i have a bad solid state amp if i plug straight in or go thru a multi-effects pedal and have the gain turned up halfway to max on either the amp or pedal and get a high pitch noise.......cant get good harmonic squeals.....

To be perfectly honest, this is probably the closest I have heard anyone come to emulating Randy's actual tone. Most people use way too much bass or way too much gain. But your tone is awesome, what do you have your amp set at?
