normally you use *.obj files wich you easily can import in 3ds max or maya
but you should do that with a low subdivide level - and use the zbrush maper to make a normal bump map for 3ds max - further instructions u can surly find somere in the net - youtube should do the trick
i can't remember right but i think you have to save your models as .OBJ so you can import from one into another using import from the file menu, if you still have problems, there should be some tutorials on how to use both max and Z brush and there it explains the entire process, good luck.
good stuff, im only just getting into character modeling. im only working in Blender, so i guess zbrush is far superior. thanks very much for the upload. all the best!

Yeah the proportions look somehow out of whack, but I can't put my finger on it.
Love the concept though, the spikes are really cool.

Good concept, but your proportions are way off.. just work on your anatomy

nice design, but the body needs more work, the ananomy seems a bit off.

Thanks. It took me about 2 weeks all up. From blank paper - sketch - 3d model and paint.
