thats an Alto don't they have different notes then tenors???

@DogLover4ever100 I had to start out on tenor but my fingers were to small so i switched to alto. I was surprised to find out that the fingering is the same on each.

the slur was way better when he got lower down it was more separated when he got to the top stack

practice this with scales mostly, because then you are killing two birds with one stone. (sorry if you like birds and i offended you)

now if you are having problems, concentrate on keeping a steady enough air flow so that the note you are moving to does not falter. you must always support your sound with enough air. in addition to this, practice bigger jumps in the same manner... (see next comment)

for example, with the G major scale:

the notes are- G A B C D E F# G

1) start on a G, then slur up to A.

2) Slur back down to G, and this time go from G to B.

3) return to G again, and this time slur up to C.

4) repeat until you go from one G, to the next G up.

remember to support your sound, and keep the notes connected, don't add breaks inbetween. :) happy saxing
