  • awesome video. we head there in 68 days

  • @waggeo99 Counting each and every day, I guess you're from somewhere in the Northern USA, sick and tired of so much cold and maybe snow, right?

Drive safely if you go by car and enjoy beautiful SC.

And feel free to share the road and/or vacation impressions.

    Enjoy the weekend.

    Chris

  • i hope u do more mrtyle beach vids plz

  • @WeAreSkyNation Not just Myrtle Beach, videos from pretty much all places I've been lately, I mean those since I've started using a very good camcorder cause driving in the States since 1998 but in the past using old-style camcorders and videos transferred to VHS tapes only. Unfortunately of no use on YT.

    Enjoy the weekend.

    Chris

  • Hmmm Leaving tommorow 2 weeks Ont To Sc Myrtle Beach Guess its going to be a long Car ride :(

  • @xCanadianBacon March Break? No major weather events on your route so just take your time, drive steady but safely, south of Richmond, VA (in case you take I-95) all the way to Miami 70 mph speed limit, but also lots of troopers on duty to grab your hard-earned money.

Drive safely and enjoy Myrtle Beach, and if you want share your road stories when you get back home to CDA.

    Chris

  • @401RoadWarrior Il Tell you about it when i get Back :)

  • Thank you for an excellent video, roadwarrior. I now have a good idea what the areas around each hotel looks like and can choose better for my family's vacation. I like the music too.

  • Canadians seems to flock to this town...

  • @aramisdiabolic You think so? Maybe by flying out, cause by car pretty rare to see a vehicle with ANY canadian plates south of NY/PA border, more over south of DC: a MIRACLE, cars or trucks. IMHO at least 90% of all traffic getting into US, so canadians going to the States by car, is for 1-day border shopping, regardless where that border crossing might be. And how do I know all of the above?

    /watch?v=69-sS7p1FAw

    On 4 wheels only.

  • @401RoadWarrior I drive down from CT every year, car ride sucks, but its well worth it

  • @401RoadWarrior I live in South Florida and I see Quebec and Ontario Canada license plates on cars every day, especially in Winter, it seems as if all of Quebec leaves Canada and drives to South Florida...lol I also just saw a New Brunswick Canada plate the other day here in Miami.

  • @Cavv386 You said "especially in Winter", right? In CDA we have the "Snowbirds' Assoc, primarily senior ppl who spend the entire winter in very warm areas, you can stay 180 days with no visa for USA, most of them are retired lawyers, doctors, architects, engineers, police officers, firefighters, etc., and they all hate the cold. Next time you see a car with (any) CDN plate look inside and see if you find somebody under... 65 yo. LOL They are down south always Nov-April.

  • Absolutely the same opinion like you Chris, out of the EU, they had enough chances, they get us all down (e.g. the € rate). Weeks ago the EU even thought about it, but what happened ?: They asked the Greek-People instead of the paying ones, and I'm sure you can imagine that they wanted to stay. A time ago Slovenia wanted not to pay anymore, what happened? They thought about to take away the veto-right from such little countries that only some ppl have the control. (Next comment please).

  • I love Myrtle Beach. I usually go there every year or so, and have been for maybe 7 years. It's a town in the US you ABSOLUTELY MUST visit. It's a great place to have a vacation!

  • The occupy movement is against corporate influence in government and the democratic process, contributing to an unprecedented transfer of wealth from the bottom 99% (which you are a part of) to the top 1% over the last couple of decades. That's a type of socialism you won't be hearing about on Fox News or Sun News. Bailing out Wall Street does not fall within the capitalistic framework.

  • @Slimecrazy234 Go to my channel and under 'About Me' click on the link with Obama and the banks and then get back to me, ok?

BTW, I'm not any part of that whatever "99%" number, personally I'm strongly against everything those left-wing loons are pushing for: MARXISM, COMMUNISM, SOCIALISM, their red banners with Socialism and Karl Marx pictures speak for themselves, on top of that I'm an anti-union individual and pretty much against anybody who wants to impose socialism on me and my family.

  • @401RoadWarrior "socialism"? You don't know what "socialism" means. Fox news throws that word around because they want very little government and corporate rule, which would be disastrous for us but highly profitable to the corporations that run Fox News. If there was no government and no regulation you and I would forever remain slaves to corporate rule, and we are headed that way today.

  • @Slimecrazy234 "You don't know what "socialism" means." I guess I don't: 27 YEARS in E EU before 1990 = COMMUNISM, not enough experience in left wing ideology, right?

    Have a nice life.

  • If you had choose between living in Canada or the US which would you choose?

  • @1993474 ~20 years of snowy and cold winters in Toronto, obviously u know my answer, but not anywhere in the States, gotta be warm AND with low taxation, for instance very little difference btwn NY State and Ontario or California and Ontario, all three with very high levels of taxation. My fav US state: SC followed closely by TX, FL after that, why? higher gas prices in FL but no state income tax in FL (same like AK, TN, TX, NV, etc.) that's why they gonna get the money from somewhere, right?

  • Looks like a nice town! Nice video.

  • @casmatori Hi Stephanie, never been to Myrtle Beach??? What the heck, are you living in a monastery? LOL Don't worry, I'm a strong conservative BUT life is too short not to enjoy it entirely.

    What about this one?

    /watch?v=Swc6Ohtjdqg

    And here around your area:

    /watch?v=umTEpYqUjjk

    Stay happy.

    Chris

  • Nothing to say than : Nice video!!

(P.S. Please tell me tomorrow what verdict the judge made about that Occupy Toronto thing)

    Have a nice Sunday

    Michael

  • @Westcoast802 Hi Michael, music inspired by what I listen in the car on satellite radio, Ibiza Festival in this case.

That judge will give his final say tomorrow at 9am local time, 3pm your time, when I get home from work is about after midnight in your area, therefore if you're interested go to my channel, 'About Me', and click on the Sun News Network link, they will post the judge's decision as soon is out of the Ontario Supreme Court. Also lots of political incorrect videos on their website.

  • @401RoadWarrior Thank you for your response, I watched the video on Sun News, the court served them eviction notices.

    Have a nice day

    Michael

  • @Westcoast802 6am in TO, hundreds of TO PD officers getting on their own police buses preparing to remove the remaining anarchists in that "Occupy" park, watch the Sun News videos for the real action on the ground.

    Talk to you later, Michael.

    Chris

  • @401RoadWarrior I just read the headline article and watched the the actual video and some tents really look like a big pile of garbage. The whole area looks bleak. In my opinion this whole "event" was absolutely senseless and unnecessary. The only thing they left back is trash, dog crap and A LOT OF WORK!

  • @Westcoast802 Hi Michael, this "stuff" started in NYC, "Occupy Wall St", and then spread out worldwide, at the beginning it was 100% against banks bailouts (which everybody agrees with, my self included) but that whatever movement was quickly hijacked by: hardcore leftists, ppl that advocate socialist/communist/marxist policies, by drug addicts, by ppl who want gov to control the society thru high taxes to everybody to pay off for very large welfare and social programs. That's why has failed.

  • @Westcoast802 As of today, Sat Nov 26, 2011, the entire "Occupy Canada" movement is gone for good, the very last "resorts" in Montreal and Edmonton have been cleared off, but the left wing movement is still alive and well in the States and elsewhere, EU included, ironically the ppl behind "Occupy Wall St" and the rest of 'Occupy" protests are CANADIANS from Vancouver, 'AdBusters', find them on wikipedia, they were very disappointed and saddened when their own country turned against them.

  • @401RoadWarrior Hi Chris,

sad to see that it turned from "Anti-Bailout" to a leftwing party. I can whine a song about bail-out money, state debts,.... There are really strange things going on in our "wonderful" EU e.g.: Since months EU-countries got to pay for bankrut states like Greece: The last half year they got hundreds of billion of € (nobody knews it exactly, the damn gov don't want to say it or the ppl would get crazy). And fact is: Greece is still bankrupt despite all the money.

  • @Westcoast802 I'm all up-to-speed with the Greek "issue", Michael, and I fully agree with you, I see it in this way: an individual (adult maybe) is in love with his/her own credit cards, and spends and spends and spends w/o having own money to pay back the cc debt, he/she asks for financial help (bailout), good ppl start helping out but they demand he/she stops using the credit cards, he/she takes the bailout money but no intention on stopping the use of credit cards... right?

  • @401RoadWarrior Austria also has debts and what those idiots are doing: Paying money that WE need to a hopeless country. The normal man who payed his whole life taxes (and we got a high rate of taxation) always gets less money from the state because the state does everything what the EU says him. They got no common sense anymore. I could write a book about crazy things going on over here. It's just depressing. But whatever,

    Have a nice weekend

    Michael

  • @Westcoast802 ... as far as I know Germany, and at some extent France & UK, runs the "show", by "show" I mean EU Zone (countries that use the euro as their own currency), ppl in these countries, Austria included, should be told by TV media or newspapers at what cost per individual Greek "issue" is taken care of, ordinary citizens in EU Zone should require a sort of referendum when bailing out Greece and maybe others in the future, at least everybody should know the bailout costs/EU Zone citizen.

  • @401RoadWarrior Perfect explanation Chris, that's exactly how it runs. And there's not only Greece, there are also some other european countries. I mean it just can not go on so. Would you confirm to pay, pay, pay and never get something of your state because he's "throwing" the money away?

    Michael

  • @Westcoast802 Again, your TV media, Radio, newspapers, should explain everybody in lots of details what's really behind these huge and costly bailouts, where taxpayer money goes to and how it's really used to, right? Let ordinary citizens be aware of the usage of their own money and let them decide about future bailouts, especially when your own money is going to foreign countries, right?

Personally, Michael, if I had my way, I'd have let Greece go her own way = out of EU Zone for good

  • @401RoadWarrior To the news statement: In my opinion we have a different news culture compared to NA. We don't have conservative-oriented or democratic-oriented news. In our news-shows they just tell us what happened in the world, maybe sometime real facts about the EU-costs but that's it. But not only the news fault, some ppl are so desinterested in what's going on that I can say that you, a canadian citizen, know more about european policy then some ppl over here, and that's questionable.

  • @Westcoast802 Only two news media outlets that do not subscribe to the left wing ideology, Fox News Channel (FNC) in the States and Sun News Network (SNN) in CDA, luckily I'm able to watch both, actually FNC for 8+ years, SNN is fairly new since April this year, so take these two stations away or not be able to watch them at all in your country, and the rest of news media is fully left wing, CNN included, they will never tell you the full story, they will hide what's detrimental for their cause.

  • @401RoadWarrior And finally:

    Have a nice Sunday

    Michael

  • @Westcoast802

    /watch?v=HeEN1MpQ-QE

  • @401RoadWarrior Hi Chris,

it doesn't surprise me, it was clear this would happen. Nobody have money anymore and if they keep going on that way it will become worse. The problem with the € is, if one country pulls him down, the whole bunch of the other countries in the Euro-zone will sense it. All in one the EU is a wobbly table who is very questionable in some parts.

    Have a nice day

    Michael

  • @Westcoast802 BTW Michael, where the money for the Greece bailout is coming from, who actually pays for this massive bailout, also is it only strictly a Euro Zone issue, so the bailout is split only btwn Euro Zone countries or by everybody in EU (the Union)? And if you're good at math, see how much in euros is the bailout, then the population of EU Zone, and then how much per each EU Zone citizen.

Is "too big to fail" policy the new "religion" in EU nowadays?

    2am in TO right now.

    Chris

  • @401RoadWarrior Alright Chris, I looked it up for you:

the whole bail-out package from the beginning to the end will cost 219 billion €. Only Euro-Zone countries have to pay. About 60 billion of the 219 billion € are coming from the IWF. There are 327 million "paying" People living in the Euro-Zone ( All kind of people included: Babies, childs). Now the "per-head payment" : 219-60= 159 billion, 159 billion / 327 million people= 486 € per head. (Please read the following comment).

  • @401RoadWarrior But in fact it's a little more because the Euro-Zone countries are also members in the IWF, so they're paying twice. Converted, 486 € are 653 US-$ or 665 CDA-$. In my opinion that's a significant pile of money for a normal man, and it's not only Greece, a time ago Ireland was bankrupt, Portugal and Italy also need money soon. And now to your last question: I think sometimes it is an advantage to be too big. You had a hard day because you're still awake at 2 AM?

    Nice day

    Michael

  • I mean the 200 police officers, use of the garbage trucks, disposal costs, the whole park clean-up,.....everything costs money. Eventually only one man have to bear the costs: The Tax-payer.

    Have a nice day

    Michael

  • Nice place. Very good video.

  • @cartsmusic TYVM, closer to you is Dubrovnik, right? a place I proudly visited in early '70s when you weren't even born, right? LOL Was called Yugoslavia at that time...

Don't worry, I'm not 100 yo, you can see it by the music I like to play on my videos, right?

    Been to Ibiza?

    Stay safe and happy.

    Chris

  • @401RoadWarrior Haha, yeah. But I have never been there or in Ibiza. Would be cool to visit. Hoping to visit USA/Canada someday. Cheers mate.

  • deadmau5 :D

  • @xXSnipz55Xx Yeap, Toronto's own boy who, like myself, not much in love with damn cold and snowy canadian winters.

Stay safe AND happy... AND... warm...

    Chris
