  • Hi, great video.

What kind of strings do you use?

  • @sonoman18 Daddario .011 strings. Thanks.

  • these guitars are very good and come to life with Seymour Duncan pick ups.

  • guitar sounds great and sweet playing

  • its tone is some what between a les paul and strat i guess

  • Great tone

  • just got a blue as73 today for 300 bucks. what a great deal.....

  • cool sound tell me please something how did u record the guitar and the play back?

  • Using Windows Movie Maker: set What U Hear option, fire the Backing Track and play the guitar. Good luck.

  • thx i dont know this software i use mac.. and do u record the guitar direct with the pod or u use microphone?

  • I´m using PODXT direct recording - PodXT Left Output --> PC (no USB). Good Luck.

  • Great sound BRA! I have the AS103 and I love this whole Artcore series! Prefer it over a Gibson but not a Yamaha SA2200.

  • nice chops,bro'

  • dollar for dollar one of the best guitars you could buy, stands up to any ..... any style of music. NOT A ES335 BUT 1/3 OF THE PRICE AND 2/3 rds AS GOOD.

  • What are you playing through? Amp wise?

  • i have one of these. I absolutely love it. I play good old rock music. Still sounds great distorted =)

  • i got this in al0l black but i use it for ska not blues 5* tho

  • I'm thinking about picking one of these baby's up. Probably going to get the sunburst though

  • I love it, I got a as73 sunburt. Dude you rock the blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude it sounds nice! i love your style

  • nice feel man. i used to have the same artcore as73, but i have the sunburst one now. btw, where can i get that backing track????

  • Send me a message. Thanks.

  • what amp are you using?

  • Pod XT.

  • I never thought there was enough tonal difference between the Neck and Bridge pick-ups on this guitar. Just a personal thought.

  • Could someone explain to me what tone controls are for the neck pick and the bridge pick up? i.e. the two controls toward the floor are ____ the two controls toward the ceiling are ____? Also my switch moves up and down (floor - ceiling and they control what pick up? I'm learning to play the Blues after a 40 year lay off. Do some of you have favorite settings for playing the blues on the AS73? Right now I'm only playing out of a Fender Frontman 25R. Need your help, Thanks

  • In order: first ____ Bridge Pickup volume and tone; second ____ Neck Pickup volume and tone. Switch: Up - Neck Pickup; Down - Bridge Pickup; Middle - Neck and Bridge Pickups. Now Dude... Play the Blues Good Luck!!!!

  • Very nice.

  • what about the AS83?

  • The neck is fairly thin on these and I like it that way. I bought mine today at Guitar Center, got the cherry one, and it is set up nice and plays great right out of the box. I checked out the Epiphone Dot and this Ibanez is much better put together and has better sound in my opinion. The Epi seemed really "cheap" in construction. The pots were loose, the jack was loose and the setup wasn't near what the Ibanez is. The finish is fantastic, deep dark cherry red. Seems very nice for the price.

  • sorry....can anyone tell me how to put the backtrack like that? is that a software or something?

  • Are the necks fairly thin on these comparing to other hollow bodies like epiphone dots?

  • Excuse me, but I don´t know.

  • Congrats. I have an Ibanez AM73 all stock uloaded in my Youtube profile.

  • Very good demo and most of all outstanding playing.

  • I have an "AM-73" which is the all-maple body/top/neck model. I had my tech rewire it with vintage cloth wire and old-stlye caps, Switchcraft switch/jack, Seth Lover nickel covered pups, and a Tusq nut. It's got Ernie Ball 11's on it and MY GOD it's a tone monster! Sustains, rings, chimes, growls - it does jazz, blues, rock, country...ANY style can be covered with this guitar! Total cost including labor - $485.00. AND it sounds as good or better than my 67 ES-335.

  • Wow! I don't know what half the things you mentioned are, but it sounds great, and that's cheap. I'd like to learn to customize guitars like that...

  • Nice playin'! Yes - Ibanez AS73 is one special guitar!

  • is it worth it to get that guitar for 250 used?

  • Yes, I think that´s a good price. Good luck.

  • maybe try to get it on 200

  • hey thats fantastic man.

  • I love my as73

  • I hope you are playing gigs somewhere my man, that was nice work and another person who wrote 3 months before, BLUES IS LIFE!!!

Very nice video, sound and play. I'm gonna go practice now myself.

  • I just bought this guitar in matte black, I love it, it sounds awesome.

  • great sound for such a good price =)

  • Hi

That sounds really nice. guess I'll have to buy one now!! Prices seem very good for this guitar.

    Cheers

    Bob

  • liking the style there bro, awesome.

  • Blues is life

  • What amp and efx if any?

    Thanks

  • I´m using the PodXT Fender Bassman- 4x12 Green 25´s simulation in direct recording mode.

  • could anyone please tell, at least their opinion, about which guitar is better: this one or Epiphone ES-335 The Dot?

  • I own an Epiphone Elitist 1965 Casino (spent a pretty penny) not wanted to risk damage I purchased the AS73 to use in some of the more undesirable places my band plays. Found the AS73 has become my axe of choice. Many factors go into choosing your axe. You need to play both to decide for yourself which one you prefer. The only time you can say one is better than the other is when you compare apples to apples. Good luck.

  • I have the same guitar love it.

  • Sweet blues, love the vid.

  • sounds great dude, What's the amp you're playing through? It's so nice and bright

  • Thanks!!! I´m using the PodXT Fender Bassman- 4x12 Green 25´s simulation in direct recording mode.

  • Nice BT where'd you get it?

  • Guitarbt site (I think).

  • epic.

  • I´m Brazilian, live in Rio de Janeiro. SD 59 is a good option, but I love the stock alnico pickups vintage tone.

  • Are you from Brazil ???? I have the same guitar and change the pickups to the Seymour Duncan's 59 model and have a great tone now . . .

  • that guitar is awsome and such a great price

  • Sounds wicked. Very B.B. Kingish with a little more twang. Sweet.
