Yep some people don't realize how destructive rodents can be.I am presently working with my young dog a Rat terrier Min pin mix encouraging his instinct to hunt rats at my horse stables,he hasn't made his first kill yet ,but its only a matter of time before he will.He shows a lot potential to be a good ratter. My 5 lb yorkie already has killed a few.Dogs doing what they were bred to do!
HELLO!What about the Bubonic plague and Hantavirus!Thats what terriers and jacks were bred for! They are disease spreading rodents. Many house fires have attributed to them (chewing through electrical wires)I personally have nothing against rodents as long as they stay in the wild where they belong.Australia has population explosions every so few years.
The rat was in his HOME. Give him him a break all you people complaining about rat cruelty. Wake up and realize that animals get killed sometimes for a good reason (vermin, disease). Walk to the supermarket and take a look around. If you have a problem with that, then don't push your agenda on others.
The garage was too dark for the video camera. It all happened so fast. Sorry. We tracked and killed a mink for a farmer a few weeks ago. The lighting was better. Try ' Jack Russell terriers hunt and catch killer mink ' and the other videos from that day.
the rat was dead before u threw.

You're disgusting, leave the poor rats alone!
You need to teach your dogs to leave them alone, I have a jack Russell and she knows not to hurt rodents.
