@l3lip i read your other comments and saw all your douchery. seat belt laws destroyed the effectiveness of seatbelts. when seatbelt laws came into play and a lot of people didnt want to wear them, auto manufacturers turned to the more convenient but completely unsafe automatic retracting springfed seatbelt which have slack at impact and allow for severe damage. before the law there were manually tightened belts that had no slack. then you could at least choose to be safe.
