Casey just had a good lawyer that proved their wasnt enough evidence linking her to the time and place her daughter was murdered.The prosecution wasn't able to pin a motive or any evidence that she was there at time of death. Not only that, but they played off of everyone's anger and hatred for the woman, but there was no motive established and no evidence to place her at the scene when she died.
