Ralph is cute, lol. Thank so much for this video, fun. We just won an rv...are new at this...and have 5 kids, lol So we need rv ideas for sure! I started a website to keep a log of everything I'm learning and to meet rvers. Please visit rvmama.com too!
Great video! A little Irony at the end there though..... Here's our 4 slide quarter million dollar RV, note the TWO TIVO's, "It's amazing how little you need"
Bella was a joy to see and inspires me for when my lil one and I buy our Trailer/RV. I posted on the channel too. I'm looking to buy a trailer and find a community like these people here in your videos to network with. Safety in numbers and I like the idea of being around like minded people. please advise of anyone who has a community near San Diego area thanks. Makin the move to full time RV/Trailer 1/1/2012 email me if you'd like to keep names and locations private;) <3 peace human family
@MonicaLeader Monica, come check out NuRVers and also Famlies on the Road, you'll find lots of cool parents and kids there. See you on the road, good luck!
Do you know how to get in touch with Eva Darling and her Vanta-C ? I tried looking her up on NuRVers but I didn't see her on there.... Do you know if she's still Fulltiming or have any other videos? Thanks !
@jp3eku Oh hey just saw your post in the NU shout box. Eva is not fulltiming anymore, she sold the Vantasy. What a sad day for us, I wish she had kept on goin'!
I have tried all types of rvs. Had a bounder 36ft Class A, 35ft Toy hauler Fifth wheel, Holiday Rambler tag along, Teton fifth wheel and 2 Class C's. I fulltimed over 5 years. I don't think that there is a RV that does everything well. Recently *2 years ago* I moved back into a small home but still long for the road.I think next time I will stay with a bumper pull, hopefully with a slide-maybe even have toyhauler capabilities. I want to stay simple and light. I think that is the answer for me.
@gotmildew "Simple and Light".....yep, that's definitely the way to go! And I agree, there is no one perfect RV out there. Hope to see you on the road!
@lupevelez2 Oh sure thing! Ane when you're ready to start your blog, wander on over to our RV blogger community, RV Blogz. You can start your own blog there using Wordpress!
@LiveWorkDream - What's the URL for your RV blog community by chance? Tried to "Google it'. but not sure I found the right one...appreciate the feedback!
Wish we could afford a hardsided trailer, we're full-timing in our popup! But with all the money we're saving (we had a 35ft fifthwheel) we'll have a hybrid TT in no time! :) I'd love to get a van conversion one day too!
Final comment, "it's amazing how little you need in life." Uhhh yeah it's the simple life in a $100k 40ft motor coach with washer and dryer, FTW? The first two can get away with that statement though.
@couchebag It's still pretty simple compared to the same-size square foot space for a downtown condo in Toronto with the same features. Everything's relative, and it would have to be a pretty crappy house that wouldn't out-do even the most luxurious motorhome.
@traccan You've obviously not toured many crappy houses; I have. Luxury motor coaches ONLY lack in space not amenities and certainly not comfort. There is a reason wealthy rock bands tool around the country in them. They're very nice and a whole lot cheaper than Hotels.
@couchebag No, I haven't been in that many of them, nothing over 80 grand for sure. The nicest I've seen is a Carriage Cameo fifth wheel 37 footer...very nice rig, but yeah, still a little cramped to me for two or more people. Do you have one...what kind?
i read all of them ... they all sound so good but i also heard their .. reception is bad .. they only deliver half of the speed of the plan ... but your video said u have satellite internet so i just curious to know what kind of speed and service u have
@LiveWorkDream Hello there, We've been thinking of investing in a RV, me and my uncle, grand dad, I've notice alot of people are getting into RV liviing because of the economy. We want to go with a Class A just for living purpose and nothing more, do u think that i'll be a good idea. Also what is better a Diesal or gas engine please respond asap. thank you
@Mr291229 The kind of RV you get just depends on your lifestyle. We chose a 5th wheel because we wanted to have a heavy duty truck for future needs. Plus, maintenance expenses are much lower than on a Class A. Read the books out there to help you decide. As for engines, we vote for diesel engine all the way! Visit NuRVers.com for more input. Good luck!
We like our 24' because we can go where the behemoths can't. Same thing with a van. A 32' trailer is huge, expensive and costs a buttload in fuel to haul around. We get almost 14mpg pulling our rig. There are plenty of peeps living comfortably in this size rig, you should get out more and meet them, I think you'll be surprised.
i ve seen suprised and as the matter of face i m going ull time rv next month because my salary cut in half so i have to live on rv while i m still single
now that's sooo cool. actually you can get all the luxury on a small space...really interesting, hard to promote this lifestyle in my country, but I have seriously being thinking of living that way myself.
