@cahpee lo haha it does look like it huh, damn i never thought that would happen after a nose job. i think I will just try this thing called a nose right my friend told me about, it did work for her though and most of all its painless
does the blood effect ur vision and also most people breathe through there nose when they sleep so....... did u ever think u would stop breathing? thats whats scaring me .....
@GreenRocks11 Blood does ot effect your vision at all. And yes people breathe through their nose and that was a very frustrating thing for me to learn is how to breath through my mouth till the packing came out. You don't need to worry about not breathing in your sleep though. Your body knows exactly how to get oxygen. If you don't breathe through your nose at night while you're sleeping then your mouth is going to automatically open to breathe. Promise!!
Thanks for the response. i don't think my black eyes had anything to do with the splint. They were deeply black by the time I got to the post-op room. :( I hope my nose looks as nice as yours when my cast is off!
@redscooter81 I am sure it will look fantastic. You might go through a period where you don't like it. That's very common. It will take an entire year to look "perfect" again so be very very patient. The bruising will go away soon. Anytime you do this surgery bruising is expected. If you have any concerns just send me a comment or email and I'll get back to you ASAP, gurl!
@redscooter81 Hi there! I'm so gald my blog has helped you!! You asked about the bruising. It most likely happened because there was not enough pressure on my nose from the splint. I got my surgery on the 4th of May and I was able to wear make up around the 30th of May. The bruising subsided and turned yellow... that is when I was able to cover it up with med.
I don't know if you're still following these comments, but I have a question. I'm 5 days post-op today and I got very much the same bruising as you (I'm glad I watched your videos before op so I wasn't completely surprised, because a lof of people get off easier with the bruises). Anyway, I'm currently a combo of purple, red, and yellow around my eyes. How long until those bruises were at least at a stage where make-up could cover them up easily? I'm most worried about the redness..
@Camilliusz Hello, I actually have so much bruising and redness because the splint my doctor use didn't put enough pressure on my bridge. He changed the way he did things because of me :-) which I thought wuz kewl. DON'T YOU WORRY! You will not look beat up. The majority of bruising is gone after a week and a few days then you can wear make up to cover up the rest. You'll be fine. I promise.

is this what happens to everyone who gets a nose job!?!?!
i wanted one but not that badly
ritzadee 1 year ago
@ritzadee It doesn't happen to everyone. My splint wasn't very secure so it didn't put enough pressure on my nose.
