mmh...does this milf has any idea what socialism actually means? I bet she couldn't mention more than 3 socialism/communism states in the world. and LOL I'd like to see her connecting lenin's with obama's politics.
Thanks to liberal policies America can no longer afford to pay for medicare, social security, unemployment and many other services. We also need to lower the minimum wage to $2/hr in order to compete with China and bring jobs back home. Fiscally responsible conservatives like Paul Ryan and Michele Bachmann know this and are currently
working to end these wasteful handout programs and bring the minimum wage down so that America can be great again. God bless the GOP!
I wish she would say what her solution would be, so we can compare. Rep. Ryan, to his credit, took a shot at that. His Medicare voucher system would leave hundreds of thousands of people without medical care. How? The cost of insurance would far exceed the voucher limitation. Insurance companies will not cover pre-existing conditions without the force of law, and even then only at great cost. The Democratic solution reduces cost by forcing universal coverage, which lowers average cost.
When will people understand that the major issue is the power of the corporations?
In these days of the Citizens United Decision, and the Koch brothers bankrolling right wing “grass roots” fronts, your vote is a rubber stamp for the Multinational Corporations.
Multinational insurance conglomerates inc. would like to thank michele bachmann for her continued support. The cost of corporate jets, luxury office space, million dollar bonuses, and living the life of the rich and famous just keeps going up, not to mention the cost of republican support. So keep cutting taxes for the rich and you baggers keep up the good work. You're spreading anti government propaganda more effectively than we ever could.
GENERAL ELECTRIC reported worldwide profits of $14.2 BILLION DOLLARS, and paid ZERO DOLLARS IN TAXES. They ain’t no great American company. They don’t care about jobs for Americans. They care only for profits.
The National Flood Insurance is socialist program, you cannot purchase flood insurance from an insurance carrier, and they are all out of the business. The federal govt. is the only place you can purchase flood insurance. The big insurance companies were losing their shirts, couldn't make a profit, they were losing billions.
Why are there no cries of socialism over that one?
The Veterans Administration Medical program is a single payer program.
@GearingDestroyer Why should i be forced to pay for your stupidity ? Why does the government have to offer flood insurance, are you not smart enough to build your house above the flood plain ?? Don't come whining to me.
If you remember nothing else, remember this: Obamacare, despite the saturation propaganda from our fallen m/media, is not about improving quality or availability of healthcare. It is utterly and solely about power. Power of the state over the individual. We are now witnessing exactly what our Founders explicitly warned us about and took great pains to protect us from. This is an unmistakable attack on our core principles: individual liberty with limited accountable govt. of-by-for the people.
Every major poll in America, even those notorious for questions designed to elicit the desired liberal result, reveals that a solid majority of Americans continue to support the repeal of the individual liberty killing, Constitution blaspheming abomination that is Obamacare. The finest healthcare system the world has ever know is indeed not perfect, but rather than precise targeted reform ie tort, the Leftists seized the rare opportunity to impose socialized medicine on free people. NOT FOR LONG!
Presidents aren't "repealed." Is this a clip from Idiocracy? Is this Representative Frito Mountain Dew? I wonder where in the double-digits her IQ is at.
Telling people to but privatized health care is Socialist? LOL. What about the healthcare plan that senators like Bachmann have right now? What about the pre-condition clause that prevents many from having healthcare? You think they shouldn't have healthcare? What about children who are able to stay on the healthcare of their parents until around 26 years old? Are you against every provision that has obvious benefits for the people of the US? Remember, we are around number 30 in HC quality.
Gosh she's so awesome ! Another great American Female Patriot I would be proud to vote for. And I bet she can produce a Birth Certificate, a real one !
I just realized Democrats are playing their "Nazi Card" because their "Race Card" is almost maxed out. Almost. That's why Democrats are "less than satisfactory." (Sorry. That was the most incendiary vitriol I could come up with...)
A vote to repeal ObamaCare should be scheduled in the Senate. That way Democrat senators facing re-election in 2012 can be held accountable for their vote.
Democrats dismissed this week’s House vote to repeal ObamaCare as symbolic but pushed for symbolism in their demand for bipartisan seating at the State of the Union address.
Let’s be clear: The only reason Democrats are wanting to be seated next to Republicans is to hide the GOP’s overwhelming House majority from SOTU’s national TV audience.
And the only thing “symbolic” about this week’s House vote to repeal ObamaCare is that it’s already more bipartisan than last year’s vote that passed it!
Just to remind everyone, MOST Americans are actually in favor of the health care law. The majority of people who have problems with the law think the bill did not go far enough- it is missing the public option and the single payer option. Nearly 70% of all health care dollars spent in the USA, prior to the passage of the health care bill, resides within the US government- US tax payers. Health Care reform is financially prudent and morally right. Right wing lies can't bury the truth.
She already has Obama Care! All of them do, the hippocrites. They all have Government -Federal Employees Health Care.
They just don't want you to have it because it's cheap and covers everything.
What do they think the VA health care system is? What about the Medicare system? How about the American Indian Health Care System?
We need Medicare for all, right now as Blue Cross and the others are raping us daily with their 25-30% going for ADMIN FEES!!! Profit for misery! Quit fooling us.
Welcome to Pelosi's 11% congress in la-la land as she said we had to vote on the bill to find out what's in it. Or Hastings: "We make up (rules) as we go along". Conyers: what good does it do to read the bill...?
Or the straw man erected time and again: its this extremist bill vastly expanding bureaucracies numbers-cooked scam or nothing!
I know the left ignores math skills, savagely accuses, politically assassinates any who disagree-that got old in 09!
In 1798, President John Adams, Senate President Thomas Jefferson, and Speaker Jonathan Dayton (the youngest person to sign the US Constitution) passed the first form of 'socialized medicine' which required privately employed sailors to purchase health insurance by collecting a 1% tax and becoming the first national payroll tax. Seems like Americans for Prosperity, Koch Brothers and their vast army of stink tanks, FOX and Tea Party did propogate a "BIG LIE"!
Let's see, golly, didn't dems ram through several 1000+ page bills with bribes for votes, giveaways to lobbyists, filled with mandates on americans, against the will of the americans, saying "not one dime in taxes" then raising taxes on medical devices (which sick people will pay), saying "we won", whos the party of no now?
Repealing these kinds of laws passed by liberal extremists is a wonderful idea. We had a debate but libs ignored it, manufactured false polls, slimed those who disagreed.
@vllmer It must be nice to live in la-la-land. All you people seem to be worried about is the number of pages in the bill. You know, we live in a complex society whose laws and regulations can't always fit neatly into one 8 x 11.5 sheet of paper. I know right-wingers feel in their hearts that reasoning and critical thinking are overrated and cumbersome qualities, but that attitude gets old after a while for those of us who choose to be rational, practical, and realistic. Don't be a dumbass.
@joekiddone Lets see, golly, which party blocked debate, discussion, or voting on HUNDREDS of pieces of legislation during just the last session of the Senate? And they did it with the weak knee, wimpy, lazy man's fillibuster. Senators are already accountable for their votes and repealing a pretty good law is a terrible idea. If they want to fix what they don't like, great - let's hear the debate. The Republican's seem to be more about tearing down the opponent to make themselves look better
Democrats dismissed this week’s House vote as symbolic . . . then turned around and pushed for the very same symbolism in their demand for bipartisan seating at the upcoming State of the Union address. Let’s be clear: The only reason Democrats want to sit next to Republicans is to hide the GOP’s overwhelming majority in the House. On national TV. And the only thing symbolic about this week’s vote to repeal ObamaCare is that it’s already more bipartisan than last March’s vote that passed it!!!
@joekiddone Do you pay attention to the news at all? Can you get your partisan head out of you dark place long enough to realize that not everything is a conspiracy against you or your party. In light of the shooting in Tucson, the heated rhetoric before and after that event, the intention to sit together was to show unity in spite of differences. Show that people can get along without all the vitriol. Certainly not this crap about hiding the GOP majority.
@mitchreno1 "Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?"
@joekiddone Moron, you don't know what you're talking about. NOBODY "demanded" to have bipartisan seating. That was an idea that came from Coburn and Schumer. The GOP majority in the House isn't "overwhelming", and it is rather meaningless, as the Senate and the White House are in Democratic hands. This repeal attempt is hypocritical, irresponsible, and time-wasting. All the GOP is interested in is being against Obama, and they couldn't care less about doing the right thing by the people.
@joekiddone No, Obama is not what you describe. I didn't vote for the man, but he is doing about as well as can be expected given what he inherited. I'm glad he won and has made some difficult decisions. I may not like everything, but overall I think he's doing a good job. If Mr. McCain had won I think we would be in worse shape today.
@joekiddone I don't care for American exceptionalism either. It is a morally bankrupt set of beliefs used by prejudiced, arrogant scumbags on the extreme Right to antagonize the rest of the world and earn us enemies instead of friends. This "exceptionalism" makes it easy to turn a blind eye on our defects, instead of encouraging us to fix them. We are a great country, but we don't have to be assholes about it. We have to correct our shortcomings before we start lording it over other countries.
@joekiddone The only pathological liars are in the GOP, bud. Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and Eisenhower must turn over in their graves every single time Boehner and McConnell open their mouths to spew their un-American bile.
The masked socialist party launched this civil war against the United States, but the party of Lincoln will prevail. We've taken the trespassers' boots off our necks and we won't stop fighting until Obama's army is totally defeated. They ought not bother asking for "bipartisanship": Americans don't negotiate with marauding socialists - we trounce them!
@whatsso4me Where do you guys keep coming up with this socialist nonsense? Do you really want to get rid of all vestiges of socialism? OK close schools, fire departments, police departments, shut down welfare, unemployment, social security, medicare, shut down the FDA, the SEC, etc... let's bring this Government down to doing nothing that isn't specifically STATED in your narrow interpretation of the Constitution. What a lousy Country this would be if we had it your way. Obama not Socialist
IN ADDITION obama: "I'm...a proponent of a single payer system" "I don't think we're going to be able to eliminate employer insurance immediately". Barney frank: "public option...best way to reach single payer" Jan schakowsky: "...a public option will put the private insurance...out of business".
Leftists still pretend what they've said in their own words doesn't exist and distort arguments to reform private insurance instead of mandating, regulating it into nonexistence!
@Lentenlands You clearly have no clue of the meaning of any of those terms, and you need to get educated. All those 'isms" are the refuge of uneducated, gullible, brainwashed know-nothings who regurgitate the talking points they hear on Fox "News" like automatons. I challenge you to give factual examples of how any of these terms you so loosely use here actually apply to anything that may be going on in America right now. I bet you you can't.
@armyveteran101st Since I’m limited for space here, I’ll give you a couple names. These men were behind the efforts to demoralize, deChristianize and destroy America by marxist socialism communism and fascism.
Gramsci, Lukacs, Marcuse, Alinsky and the globalist elites Rockefeller, Morgan, Warburg, etc. that funded them.
I think that you better do your homework and wake up to reality friend.
Remember that Einstein said, “"Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance."
@Lentenlands No, thank you. I am not part of the pointy tin foil hat crowd that you clearly belong to, and I have much better ways to waste my time. Get your head out of your ass.
@armyveteran101st I suggest YOU get YOUR head out of your own and investigate the worthless garbage ideologies you have signed up for. It is you who is a member of the tin foil hat brainwashed brigade of karl marx and his bed-pals and I stand against you.
You are an intolerant, ignorant dope of a marxist liberal prig.
@Lentenlands Like I said, GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS AND GET EDUCATED. You don't even know what the term "Marxist" means. I love idiots like you, who only know a couple of terms they've heard on Fox "News" and use the word "liberal" as an insult. I'd much rather be a liberal than a moronic retard like you, bud. Of that I'm sure.
This woman is laughable, and I am glad she is being given free reign to go on ridiculous, ignorant rants like this one, because her message and her presence serve to show the American people just how toxic and harmful the extreme elements of the GOP really are. Nowadays it seems like it is a prerequisite to be stupid and ignorant in order to be a member of the republican party, and that's fine. I hope they keep this up, because by doing so they'll be digging the republican party's grave.
@downriggershop A common colloquialism that is frequently misspelled, big deal. You understood what I'm saying. By your constant use of the pseudo-word "lib" and your other comments, I assume you must be one of those braindead idiots who actually support Bachmann. I wouldn't be accusing anyone of being ignorant if I were you, buddy. Your support of morons like Bachmann does not reflect favorably on you. Her views are ridiculous and ignorant, and that is a fact.
@armyveteran101st ***common colloquialism that is frequently misspelled***
... by the ignorant, as you originally mentioned. Surprised that a snarky lib like you claims to be a veteran. Have you got a chapter in 'Stolen Valor'?
@downriggershop Negative. I am Indeed a U.S. Army veteran, and I wonder if you have served in uniform. Even if you have, you don't get to be an asshole and question my military service. You don't have that right. However, you do have the right to keep your head firmly lodged up your ass and remain ignorant. All you right-wing morons are the same. You resort to personal insults and evasive action when confronted, because you know very well that facts and reality are not on your side. Get lost.
@downriggershop Well, if it weren't for privacy concerns, I guess I could email you a copy of my DD214, but you would surely pull some absurd reason out of your ass to discredit it and tell me it's fake. You'd rather get personal and offensive instead of trying to sustain a constructive conversation, and that's OK. I don't expect anything else from an asswipe who chooses to demean my military service only because we have a difference of opinion. Either way, you can go fuck yourself.
@armyveteran101st ***if it weren't for privacy concerns, I guess I could email you a copy of my DD214***
Post it to Image Shack and forward the link - not to people who 'demean your military service', but to people like me - surprised that a veteran would be a foul mouthed lib, but even more surprised a veteran would use his record for big noting himself.
@armyveteran101st - this is from the ABC election guide for 09 byelection:
"Andrew HESTELOW - Christian Democratic Party (Fred Nile Group)
A long time Bradfield resident, Hestelow is an importer and designer of fishing tackle through his company, Downrigger. He is well known in the local boating community and a member of St. Andrew’s Anglican Parish, Wahroonga."
downriggershop website has Andrew Hestelow, Wahroonga as the contact. CDP candidate photo matches downriggershop video guy
@armyveteran101st Yes he's worn a uniform but if you google his name youll see it was only a boy scout uniform. Looks like he leads a boy scout group- very funny and he thinks he has the right to question your credentials!!
@emls01 Self-righteous morons like that guy are a dime-a-dozen here on YouTube. You know the very low quality of a person when they start questioning your patriotism or military service only because they disagree with you. That is nothing but a sign of a poor intellect and an inability to carry on like a decent human being. That guy is nothing but a clown };-)
@downriggershop Yeah you tell him about ignorance mate! After all, being a member of the Australian Christian Democrats Party wouldn't qualify you as ignorant, would it.
@armyveteran101st How is it a ridiculous ignorant rant? Obamacare is already proving to be corrupt when the Secretary of health is allowed to give out 200 waivers to special groups because the law would leave over 1 million employees without healthcare. The New and Expanded Secretarial Powers in the law reveals the ways in which the 2,700-page health reform law grants 1,968 powers to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. Powers over you, yours and your Doctors health decisions.
@quizerry It is not corrupt and the waivers are temporary.
- Special interest groups like McDonalds with their crummy $10,000 cap health insurance policies. If something serious happens, those people might as well no have insurance.
- Leave over 1 million without healthcare?? We had over 30 million without it before the law was enacted.
- Name 5 of those 1,968 powers that you find offensive. I doubt there are really that many new evil POWERS coming to get you.
@quizerry mitchreno already answered your ridiculous questions for me, and he/she is right. If anything, the new health care law favors the insurance industry, because it throws millions more paying customers its way. The only way you can cover everyone is through a public option or single payer, but you people on the right are too dumb to see that. If you opened your eyes and ears for a second you'd realize that this law has nothing to do with government control of anything.
She is a true CONSERVATIVE...............unwaivering.........not bought nor sold by anyone.........You liberals should be afraid...............Be very afraid...... The truth that she
states......and never waffles, or changes.......or alters her mission...or philosphy
is the real deal...........Now ask "Who dresses her".. ARE...YOU KIDDING ME? distraction..at the very last. Go pick on HIllary's pants suits, and MAO jackets......... if that's the level you want to stoop to.
PLUS, obama himself has said something like "we won't get there (single payer) all at once" this is all about destroying your options, after ruining the insurance market for decades (fed, state legislatures, mandates, gov. payment policies to doctors, no tort reform, no competition, etc.
Some say "oh, this isn't accurate that's not what they mean exactly". But then the federal mandates are issued, trial lawyers get a massive break in obamacare, unions get waivers, etc...sorry, AIN'T BUYING IT.
@vllmer Where do you get this stuff?? Destroying your options? If anything there will be more options with insurance exchanges and all the other insurance companies that exist. How is getting everyone to buy insurance going to ruin it for decades? Trial lawyers get a massive break in the Health Care Law? Where exactly is that break and what is the nature of it? You really need to put down whatever you're smoking and think rationally about this issue.
How much longer are assholes like this pathetic piece of shit going to be allowed to stand up in Congress and continually spout lies and utter bullshit? This woman is a fucking fascist as are all those who support her.
@LiquidTokyo ***how much longer are assholes like this pathetic piece of shit going to be allowed to stand up in Congress***
As long as people vote for her, Wetty. How long are you libs going to be allowed to post hate online anonymously? Youtube's a joy for filth like you - cowards, with keyboards.
She's right. When the dems passed obamacare, you had Dingell saying how it would "control americans", Harkin saying "its just the beginning" and how he would expand the bureaucracy, government "rights" (regulations). Max Baucus talking about "maldistribution of income" when passing obamacare? Mission creep, anyone? You really think your options will survive the continual mismanagement, back loaded expensing, trial lawyer/AARP lobbyists and shell games of obamacare, the radical agendas? NO!
@vllmer You're missing the important points about what the Health Care Reform Law really does and doesn't do. And you mixing it up with comments that may or may not be accurate from a couple legislators. If Harkin said it's only the beginning, good. This was insurance reform, now they need to address things that will bring costs down to reality. Mission creep will be prevented by the adversarial relationship between the parties. The shell game is what we've been living with for decades.
Recently NASA witnessed an unscheduled rendezvous between an America and Russian space craft. Sensors recorded Rep Michelle Bachman’s’ movement and transference from the Russian capsule. I am however shocked to see my tax dollars are being used to aid republicans to sneak candidates over the border between Planet Mars and the Planet Earth. I would support a t plan that Mars be declared an economic zone of interest. That would remove all doubts that you were born on another planet.
I hear this cunt's voice and I want to put a power drill to my head. Blechmenn doesn't give a shit about the people, she's just an attention whore that's no better than Palin. The only reason she's popular now is because she embarrassed herself on Hardball, managed to win because her constituents are dumbasses, played the victim card to a tee, a skill that wingnuts must have, and now we have this. Fuck you Blechmenn.
So let me get this straight. Jobloss wasn't happening before the bill passed. 45% increase in premuims. I wish you would cite this. Maybe you could come up with a plan and show it to the people before you repeal this one.
This lady is a genuine American patriot. Though unfairly attacked every day by the vicious unscrupulous Left and their puppets in the mainstream media, she remains gracious and dignified. Her commitment to uphold the Constitution and protect our individual liberty from government tyranny remains unshakable. I thank God for her and pray for many more like her. Michele, please remember that outside the cackling din of the media, that the vast majority of the American people strongly support you.
@3434arc1 And you are a genuine dumbass. It amazes me that you people scream about the Constitution but ignore the part about "provide the general welfare." Do you honestly believe that your way is the only way to run a country and everyone should think the same way? Blechmann is a joke (Census to build Concentration Camps?) and so are you if you think most Americans like this blithering idiot.
@3434arc1 Not true. The vast majority of US Citizens do not support this woman's views. If you want to talk about vicious and unscrupulous, there is a lot of that going around, and it's certainly not restricted to just the "left". And what makes you think of puppets? Do you mean the same sort of puppets as the Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, mainstream talk radio and FOX news puppets? Take some time and listen to Randi Rhodes or Thom Hartmann for a bit, it might be enlightening.
@3434arc1 funny, that same "gumberment under George W. Bush" was jim dandy for you. Put a black man in office, & suddenly the gumberment is tyrannical. That's irrational hypocrisy based stuff right there. You lost an election in 2006, & 08. You are mad about not being in power. Power is all your views are based on. When you're IN power, all things are just, moral, & RIGHT. When out of power, it's now tyranny. Irrational & sad...
@Bolgernow HEY how did those policies work out for bush in '06 and rinos in '08? How about all those promises that obama made in 08? Keep your doctor? Your health plan? No federal funds for abortions? etc.? HIS WORDS MEANT NOTHING.
And how about those NOV 2010 midterms? The worst dem election results in decades? WHAT were the dems doing 06-10? WHO was upset? Or are they all crazy h8rs only when dems lose power?
HEY, MAYBE dems got thrown out of office because they acted like RINOS-or worse!!
@vllmer aside from heavily Tea Party/Ayn Rand/Reagan/Anti Obama channel, your questions make no sense to your base hypocrisy. Good gumberment=when in power, Bad gumberment=when out. It is based on power. Republican's will spend, just on the shit they want(Military, Tax cuts for the top 3% wage earners, off-shore corporate tax restructuring loopholes). If you can't see that, you've been duped my friend...
@torkelson100 Who's bringing in all the foreign cheap labor or moving operations overseas for the shaerholders?
there is no loyalty from those people. they'd sell their mother down the river for a silver coin. Don't get me started on the Dems. .. they are BEELZABUB. No doubt. I just don't vote. Doesn't work.
@piertroll15 I can't say I share your negative view on the dems. I think there are some dems that are sincerely wrong. The solution in my opinion is to have honest, good faith reason (not religion or the Bible) prevail in the public debate.
@thisisntme You say: "No, they just want them (the wealthy) to pay their fair share of taxes, that's all." My response: Fact: The 50% wealthiest Americans pay 97% of the taxes.
@torkelson100 And the Reps don't? It comes down to what they want the money to pay for. Go ahead and keep expanding the divide between wealthy and poor. Go ahead and keep decimating the middle class. I'm not pleased with the Republicans and I am one.
You say: "In Arizona I guess they would just let the fool die." Have you ever heard of medicaid?---Medicaid the only one of the two ie medicaid and medicare that is a legitimate responsibility of the gov: A safety net.
@torkelson100 Yea and have you heard of the nearly 100 people in ARIZONA who are going to be permitted to DIE because the MEDICAID program stopped providing for transplants. I just expanded that insensitivity to include spinal cord injury, which isn't much of a stretch if they're still bent on cutting their budget.
Get back to your point though - Medicare and Medicaid are socialist programs. No problems, yet this woman calls people buying personal coverage socialist. She is just 100% wrong
@mitchreno1 You says: "the MEDICAID program stopped providing for transplants." If that is true i would be favor of the GOP in their new health care bill to change that and give all Medicaid patients full coverage. I do not consider safety nets for the truly needy to be socialism.
@torkelson100 Medicaid is a State run program, and you can check it out. Yes ARIZONA eliminated the coverage for transplants to Medicaid patients. Two people have died so far. Only one of them was probably a direct result of Arizona's policy decision. But more people will die because of that choice. Kind of another angle on Right to Life or Right to Choose.
@mitchreno1 You say: "Yes ARIZONA eliminated the coverage for transplants to Medicaid patients." The GOP needs to correct that in their bill. Safety nets for the truly needy is not socialism.
@torkelson100 There's nothing for the GOP to do in their bill, unless they are contemplating single payer (not likely) or a public option (not likely). The solution for these unfortunate folks in need of transplants is for Arizona to reverse their policy decision and allow Medicaid coverage of transplants. I guess you could their current policy the Arizona Republican (GOP) death panel (a real one).
@cruxto I guess if you want a pole dancer in the White House she might be the ticket. Unfortunately she is very thin on substance, extreme in her rhetoric, and simply wrong on important issues like Health Care.
- Did Rush or Glenn tell you the President is racist? Because I've seen no evidence of racism in the guy.
- It must tickle you to keep calling him Muslim even though he is clearly not of that faith.
Socialized health care is the next step. We already have socialist military, homeland security, defense, fire & police, parks, highways, post office. Now they are trying to do it to health care. If you work for the govt state or fed you are part of the socialist problem right now.
@merryprank What is the next step? Socialized housing for everyone? Socialized employment where everyone works for the gov? The USSR all over again? With the recent world history of the failures of socialism it is amazing how foolish some are in America and still want to follow a proven failed gov system. We today were all handed on a silver platter the best gov system the world has ever seen and yet some want to throw it away.
@torkelson100 The next step is for you to stop parroting talking points you hear from Fux News and Rash Limblob. This is not nor will this ever be USSR, and Obama is more pragmatic than ideologue. Remember this next time you spout garbage.
@torkelson100 What part of "not even close to socialism" do you not get? Under the Health Care Law we still have private insurance companies competing for our business. We still have people buying their own insurance. We still choose the doctors we want according to the insurance plan we choose. The doctors don't work for the Government except in cases like the VA. The doom and gloom portrayed by the unhinged right is a mirage.
@merryprank You say: "We already have socialist military, homeland security, defense, fire & police, parks, highways, post office." These are all legitimate responsibilities of the gov not socialism. We do not want abolish the gov.
@torkelson100 Actually if you would read the constitution you would understand they are not. They have just been entrenched like fat ticks for so long on the taxpayers back it seems that way. Those services are the most socialist and wasteful of the entire govt. We have to end them before they suck us dry and succeed in destroying America.
@merryprank Are you saying the judicial branch of the gov (law enforcement) is socialism? Our gov has 3 branches: The executive, legislative and judicial. What role does gov have in your opinion? I smell an anarchist here.
She is simply, incredibly wrong. Health Care Reform has nothing to do with socialism. In fact it is handled by PRIVATE insurance companies. The LAW makes provisions for those who are unable to afford health insurance to be able to get it. Do we want to continue to leave these people to suffer through early stages of an illness until it is an emergency and then not pay for their more EXPENSIVE care? Forcing the rest of us to pay more. There's not enough room to write how wrong Bachmann is.
@darrellmellissa That is why there is the requirement for everyone to get coverage. So we don't have the 25 year old jock who's never gonna die, dive in a shallow pool and become a quadrapalegic without health insurance. In Arizona I guess they would just let the fool die, but in most other States that person becomes dependent on the State or Federal Government and everybody winds up paying for them anyway. Is that Socialism?
Signing up for insurance after you're sick, more like fraud. .
@mitchreno1 It's rationed care. If your to young or to old, you will not be afforded the same care, that a person that is a contributor to society receives. Does that sound like socialism to you ?
@Auggie56 It is not rationed health care. Where do you get this stuff? If you want to talk about rationed health care, how about the system we've been living and dying with for years? Insurance companies routinely deny coverage for people - rationing. Doctors deny procedures to people who are not statistically likely to survive - rationing. Insurance has commonly used their right of recission to deny or ration care. Or if your the working poor your care is rationed. Not socialism at all.
@mitchreno1 Why is there increased funding for HOSPICE care, if they don't for see more deaths ? I suggest to do some research if you don't believe me or Bachmann. As far as the poor, our local hospital eat the services everyday, treating those who can't pay. That I know, as I called on hospitals in my job for twenty years.
@Auggie56 If there is increased funding for hospice care it is probably because we have a huge wave of baby boomers coming through to the final years of their lives. They're not going to live forever. They will need comforting care for the final stages of life, not to cut their life shorter. Do you know what hospice is? It's not euthanasia. Bachmann said nothing about hospice care here anyway. This is about calling the Health Care Law, Socialized Medicine; which it clearly is not.
@Auggie56 Regarding the second part of you post, those who can't pay for hospital services. That's the point exactly! Most people can't afford tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars for a stay in the hospital. When they can't, your premiums and your taxes increase as those costs are passed on to everybody else. That's socialized medicine. Having those people buy an insurance policy they can afford with good coverage - that's not socialized medicine.
She wouldn't know real socialism if it bit her on the ass. It's not socialized medicine. That's called SINGLE PAYER. We got Romneycare. The health care law sucks, but let's call it what it is...a giveaway to insurance companies. NOT socialism.
@unholyicon She doesn't say that she wants to repeal the President. She says she wants to repeal the bill. a lot of times.

GOPkicksbutt 7 months ago

Wake up while you still can.
GearingDestroyer 10 months ago
Multinational insurance conglomerates inc. would like to thank michele bachmann for her continued support. The cost of corporate jets, luxury office space, million dollar bonuses, and living the life of the rich and famous just keeps going up, not to mention the cost of republican support. So keep cutting taxes for the rich and you baggers keep up the good work. You're spreading anti government propaganda more effectively than we ever could.

Do you want to repeal these programs?
Facists!

@joekiddone I don't care for American exceptionalism either. It is a morally bankrupt set of beliefs used by prejudiced, arrogant scumbags on the extreme Right to antagonize the rest of the world and earn us enemies instead of friends. Powers over you, yours and your Doctors health decisions.

@quizerry It is not corrupt and the waivers are temporary.
- Special interest groups like McDonalds with their crummy $10,000 cap health insurance policies. If something serious happens, those people might as well no have insurance.

@3434arc1 It's time for us to repeal ignorant baggers who voted in rightwing lunatics like Bachmann.
SocialistLiberal 1 year ago
@3434arc1 And you are a genuine dumbass. It amazes me that you people scream about the Constitution but ignore the part about "provide the general welfare." Do you honestly believe that your way is the only way to run a country and everyone should think the same way? Blechmann is a joke (Census to build Concentration Camps?) and so are you if you think most Americans like this blithering idiot.
thisisntme 1 year ago

HEY, MAYBE dems got thrown out of office because they acted like RINOS-or worse!!
vllmer 1 year ago
@vllmer aside from heavily Tea Party/Ayn Rand/Reagan/Anti Obama channel, your questions make no sense to your base hypocrisy. Good gumberment=when in power, Bad gumberment=when out. It is based on power. Republican's will spend, just on the shit they want(Military, Tax cuts for the top 3% wage earners, off-shore corporate tax restructuring loopholes). If you can't see that, you've been duped my friend...

there is no loyalty from those people. they'd sell their mother down the river for a silver coin. Don't get me started on the Dems. .. they are BEELZABUB. No doubt. I just don't vote. Doesn't work.
piertroll15 1 year ago
@piertroll15 I can't say I share your negative view on the dems. I think there are some dems that are sincerely wrong. The solution in my opinion is to have honest, good faith reason (not religion or the Bible) prevail in the public debate.

@thisisntme You say: "No, they just want them (the wealthy) to pay their fair share of taxes, that's all." My response: Fact: The 50% wealthiest Americans pay 97% of the taxes.
torkelson100 1 year ago
@torkelson100 And the Reps don't? It comes down to what they want the money to pay for. Go ahead and keep expanding the divide between wealthy and poor. Go ahead and keep decimating the middle class. I'm not pleased with the Republicans and I am one.

You say: "In Arizona I guess they would just let the fool die." Have you ever heard of medicaid?---Medicaid the only one of the two ie medicaid and medicare that is a legitimate responsibility of the gov: A safety net.
torkelson100 1 year ago
@torkelson100 Yea and have you heard of the nearly 100 people in ARIZONA who are going to be permitted to DIE because the MEDICAID program stopped providing for transplants. I just expanded that insensitivity to include spinal cord injury, which isn't much of a stretch if they're still bent on cutting their budget.
Get back to your point though - Medicare and Medicaid are socialist programs. No problems, yet this woman calls people buying personal coverage socialist. She is just 100% wrong
mitchreno1 1 year ago
@mitchreno1 You says: "the MEDICAID program stopped providing for transplants." If that is true i would be favor of the GOP in their new health care bill to change that and give all Medicaid patients full coverage. I do not consider safety nets for the truly needy to be socialism.
torkelson100 1 year ago
@torkelson100 Medicaid is a State run program, and you can check it out. Yes ARIZONA eliminated the coverage for transplants to Medicaid patients. Two people have died so far. Only one of them was probably a direct result of Arizona's policy decision. But more people will die because of that choice. Kind of another angle on Right to Life or Right to Choose.
mitchreno1 1 year ago
@mitchreno1 You say: "Yes ARIZONA eliminated the coverage for transplants to Medicaid patients." The GOP needs to correct that in their bill. Safety nets for the truly needy is not socialism.
torkelson100 1 year ago

If you work for the govt state or fed you are part of the socialist problem right now.
merryprank 1 year ago
@merryprank What is the next step? Socialized housing for everyone? Socialized employment where everyone works for the gov? The USSR all over again? With the recent world history of the failures of socialism it is amazing how foolish some are in America and still want to follow a proven failed gov system. We today were all handed on a silver platter the best gov system the world has ever seen and yet some want to throw it away.
torkelson100 1 year ago 2
@torkelson100 The next step is for you to stop parroting talking points you hear from Fux News and Rash Limblob. This is not nor will this ever be USSR, and Obama is more pragmatic than ideologue. Remember this next time you spout garbage.
thisisntme 1 year ago
@torkelson100 What part of "not even close to socialism" do you not get? Under the Health Care Law we still have private insurance companies competing for our business. We still have people buying their own insurance. We still choose the doctors we want according to the insurance plan we choose. The doctors don't work for the Government except in cases like the VA. The doom and gloom portrayed by the unhinged right is a mirage.
mitchreno1 1 year ago
@merryprank You say: "We already have socialist military, homeland security, defense, fire & police, parks, highways, post office." These are all legitimate responsibilities of the gov not socialism. We do not want abolish the gov.
torkelson100 1 year ago
@torkelson100 Actually if you would read the constitution you would understand they are not. They have just been entrenched like fat ticks for so long on the taxpayers back it seems that way. Those services are the most socialist and wasteful of the entire govt. We have to end them before they suck us dry and succeed in destroying America.
merryprank 1 year ago
@merryprank Are you saying the judicial branch of the gov (law enforcement) is socialism? Our gov has 3 branches: The executive, legislative and judicial. What role does gov have in your opinion? I smell an anarchist here.
torkelson100 1 year ago
She is simply, incredibly wrong. Health Care Reform has nothing to do with socialism. In fact it is handled by PRIVATE insurance companies. The LAW makes provisions for those who are unable to afford health insurance to be able to get it. Do we want to continue to leave these people to suffer through early stages of an illness until it is an emergency and then not pay for their more EXPENSIVE care? Forcing the rest of us to pay more. There's not enough room to write how wrong Bachmann is.
mitchreno1 1 year ago
@mitchreno1 Well guess what, signing up for insurance after you get sick,, that is not insurance that is Socilisum,,
darrellmellissa 1 year ago
@darrellmellissa That is why there is the requirement for everyone to get coverage. So we don't have the 25 year old jock who's never gonna die, dive in a shallow pool and become a quadrapalegic without health insurance. In Arizona I guess they would just let the fool die, but in most other States that person becomes dependent on the State or Federal Government and everybody winds up paying for them anyway. Is that Socialism?
Signing up for insurance after you're sick, more like fraud. .
mitchreno1 1 year ago
@mitchreno1 It's rationed care. If your to young or to old, you will not be afforded the same care, that a person that is a contributor to society receives. Does that sound like socialism to you ?
Auggie56 1 year ago
@Auggie56 It is not rationed health care. Where do you get this stuff? If you want to talk about rationed health care, how about the system we've been living and dying with for years? Insurance companies routinely deny coverage for people - rationing. Doctors deny procedures to people who are not statistically likely to survive - rationing. Insurance has commonly used their right of recission to deny or ration care. Or if your the working poor your care is rationed. Not socialism at all.

@mitchreno1 Way to tell the truth in a civil way. I've lost patience.
thisisntme 1 year ago
@mitchreno1 Why is there increased funding for HOSPICE care, if they don't for see more deaths ? I suggest to do some research if you don't believe me or Bachmann. As far as the poor, our local hospital eat the services everyday, treating those who can't pay. That I know, as I called on hospitals in my job for twenty years.
Auggie56 1 year ago
@Auggie56 If there is increased funding for hospice care it is probably because we have a huge wave of baby boomers coming through to the final years of their lives. They're not going to live forever. They will need comforting care for the final stages of life, not to cut their life shorter. Do you know what hospice is? It's not euthanasia. Bachmann said nothing about hospice care here anyway. This is about calling the Health Care Law, Socialized Medicine; which it clearly is not.
mitchreno1 1 year ago
@Auggie56 Regarding the second part of you post, those who can't pay for hospital services. That's the point exactly! Most people can't afford tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars for a stay in the hospital. When they can't, your premiums and your taxes increase as those costs are passed on to everybody else. That's socialized medicine. Having those people buy an insurance policy they can afford with good coverage - that's not socialized medicine.
mitchreno1 1 year ago
Yea, right on right on !
latlanticcityphil 1 year ago
She wouldn't know real socialism if it bit her on the ass. It's not socialized medicine. That's called SINGLE PAYER. We got Romneycare. The health care law sucks, but let's call it what it is...a giveaway to insurance companies. NOT socialism.
