I clearly recall my father walking around the house particularly in my mother's presence singing this song aloud - and rather often. Shame that they didn't split when I was quite young since it would've been much better for everyone in the family. What a tortured relationship they were in - this song, at least gave, him a good "vent" and emotinal comfort.
