Contra 4 sucks compared to Contra 3. Konami needs to hire Treasure to develope a Contra to knock Contra 3 off it's pedistol like they did for Gradius V (PS2) LOL!!!!

Well you got a point there, I really like Contra 4 but even though Contra 3 was slightly better, it was short and sweet- too short and sweet.

yeah, I only drag Treasure into Contra V talk because of Gradius V and it would be neat to be on target with Konami's Strategy. After all the Original Contra and SUPER Contra were created without "Star Team(Treasure guys)" and then Contra 3 used the Foundation to Build and Improve(my opinion). I'd like to think Contra 4 was created with a Cannot-fail attatude(and I know fans love it) and I am Hoping Treasure gets their hands on it for Wii or something. WIIMOTE CONTRA?

you had a mess up for points on contra 3, it's 800, and i agree for people into only next gen games, but for people who enjoy classic games like he says "RAD retro gamers" I'd give contra 3 at least an 8.5. however i'd give mario kart 64 a higher score

6.5 out of 10 for Soldier Blade? It deserves a much higher score than that IMO. It's one of the best vertical shmups that I've ever played.

I have to say I love retro games but I have never been able to play games like R-Type or Contra. I can only last about 5 seconds per life and that's it. That's probably just me though.

Leaks from December and January hint that Super Mario RPG will hit the Wii VC, however it's still just a rumor. Of course, Kirby coming to the Wii VC started out as a rumor too...

Sorry, but you forgot to mention that the Wii version won't let you save your ghost. I fear other N64 games on the Wii that uses the Memory Pak for saves.

"retro gamer" magazine defines any 'retro' game as a game that has fallen out of favor, especially if it is at least ten years old and on a forgotten platform or system.

But you have your right to an opinion, and I can certainly see why you'd feel that way. I'm just telling you why we at RRR feel otherwise.

Mario Kart I played a ton back in the day, but the other two I have never played. I'm always up for a good challenge, and I'll probably pick up Contra once I get a Wii.

tis the only problem sometimes....the frustration is overwhelming...i downloaded probotektor III (contra III stupid censors )and god i can only reach the 3rd level....i may suck...but i get killed in the same place everytime.... the drillier part >_<
