  • "Yakety Sax" is a piece of music written by James Q. "Spider" Rich and popularized by saxophonist Boots Randolph.

    The composition includes pieces of assorted fiddle tunes such as "Chicken Reel", and was written for a performance at a venue called The Armory in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Two bars of "Entrance of the Gladiators" are also worked into it.

  • @scastelletti If you hadn't said it, I would've. First thing I was Yakety Sax, as I never watched Benny Hill for more than the few minutes it took me to figure out I found him unfunny.
