Okay, I don't mean to be a troll or anything, but I would like the soundtrack a lot more if they used more jazz themes similar to Hard Boiled, the movie this game is supposed to be the sequel of. Just my opinion. Fun game but does anyone else feel this way?

i love john woo and chow yun fat films, and this although may not be the best it sure was a good rental and a lot fun to play. the game is only good for its own standards comparing it with others is for game reviewers who bitch or phrase the good or the bad. its simple really, don't like it, don't play it.

druid1605 you're right ... this game cannot be compared to max payne or other good shooters ,,, it reminds me of the old shooters on genesis or snes

Didn't dissapoint me. I loved it. The plot, gameplay, the surprisingly ace music by SOAD's Serj Tankian. There is only one thing I don't like about this game. There aren't enough pistols in the later stages. And thats all.

Something else is disapointing on the PC version: it was not even possible to play with a pad, even the X360 one. Shameful.

@nouveauprofil I wouldn't know, I'm simply going off my own experience. Multiplayer isn't my scene, and while it's only a short game, it's fast and furious, and it's a high octance playthrough. Of course, try playing it on Hard Boiled. I promise you'll down a few Tequila's and smoke a few before that's beaten, it's not a mode you can do in 6 hours.

@TheRogueMonk Seriously? You can shoot while doing almost anything, in Max Payne, the most you could do was dive through the air and shoot. Keep in mind Max Payne was directly inspired by the gunplay of films like Hard Boiled, so Stranglehold is basically taking it's style back and refining it.
