I wonder how Rafi Sahib could imagine the scene for which he was supposed to record a song. Looks like if Rafi was shown this scene before recording. Such a perfect rendering according to the scene requirement is very rare after Rafi Sahib. He was so genius from inside but so simple from outside. No doubt, he was one of the wonders of world, like Taj Mahal.

I watched a Rafi sahabs old Indian TV show along with music director Naushad. This was a black & white music show on Doordarshan.

Notice the distance between him and the mic. It is almost 1/2 feet away from his mouth, but still perfect pitch, tone, modulation. This is what they call a out of the world perfect throw of voice. See any singer with few exception they hold mic so close to their mouth when they sing. Rafi'ji was a very humble soft spoken person, but with a powerful voice.
