  • do they eat shrimp

  • u sure there not making babies

  • It's a Gravyard !!!

  • are 5 ok in a 60 gallon tank, i don't have a snail problem, but i was wondering if i could have 5 as a back up just in case, what would i feed them? should i go to the petstore and ask them for (free) pond snails to feed a few times a week? or are they ok to eat leftover food? will 5 make a large dent in my red cherry shrimp pop, or am i ok?

  • Hi folks, Believe it or not, it was shot using canon A590.

  • @hitoan1 i believe great Quality video

  • Incredible video. You can see it eating the snail inside it's shell. It's like a snail cemetary with all of the empty shells.

  • wow what the hell camera is that? clearest tank vid ive ever seen

  • real awesome about these snails is that they suck out the meat so you can keep the shells

  • wot mega pixel camera do u have, the clarity is amazing !

  • i think it is an underwater camera, cause it is very clear but I dont know

  • wow this is SOOOOO clear and it's not even HD... awesome assassin snail, i'm gonna get some this week.

  • @welcomegohome if u put one+ in the tank all the apple snails will try to get out of the water as soon as they sense it eventually the tank's limited space corners the prey snail

  • @treeofnature actually now, they've been doing their job. very effectively and have even made babies!! on average i can count about 15 of them. it's insane.

  • i have about four assassins in my 55 gallon planted tank. doesn't really seem like they're doing their job too well. the young apple snails are almost exclusively on the glass where i can easily crush them, whereas the mature ones are on the plants. i crush them with my fingers and feed em to my fish but they always come back...

  • @welcomegohome For a 55 Gallon there are a lot of hiding spots. I have 15 in my 55 planted, and they rid my tank of pond snails in 2 months. I went from having 15 to 20 full grown pond snails on my glass with tons on the substrate. I'm down to 1 baby once and awhile. So if you can get 5 to 10 more you should be in luck. Then when they have finished their job sell Them on Aquabid (.) com. They sell like hotcakes.
