@UltimteLifeForm As I said before, this isn't truly about KOTOR. Instead, this game is one of the two "flagships" of Bioware beside the Mass Effect trilogy. Didn't you notice that while Mass Effect is almost bug-free and runs on almost every pc, Dragon Age is "laggy" thus has an unstable import system? I think they just want to raise the players' numbers by attracting KOTOR fans with advertising KOTOR into their game. I like MMOs yes, but please keep KOTOR out of this.

Obviously the combat mechanics would never of worked for an MMO and now the game will be slightly faster paced now rather than pausing the game every time you see enemy. @Alchohollica The pausing issue could be partially resolved by having real people controlling your 2-3 "off" characters, because pausing is usually used for that. You of course would have to have a couple of friends and Teamspeak, though...

@crazedfan7589 It won't demand a high quality engine, from what beta tester leaks are saying, but it should require a bit more than what I suspect you have, if you really can't run SC2.

If you google the "betacake" blog, I think it's in Q&A 8 about SWtOR, the beta tester says he's running the game fine on a dual core processor under 3Ghz and an old Nvidia GPU (he only says "old", probably a geforce 9600).

haha when i first heard there was no kotor 3 but a mmo, and saw the gameplay i annoyed too. but it actually seems really good, it's just like kotor except you are finally your own person, you have your own ship, you can get companions (which have multiple story lines- romance ect ect).
meh the combat is like any other mmo... i like the companion system but this game is not worth money, if it was f2p it would kick ass but if u have to pay for it not really good, graphics look like the game is from 2004 and the combat really makes the game look a piece of crap... im sticking to gw2 they cover everything and the graphics are gorgeous ^^
you must not know anything about mmorpgs. You can't make graphics amazing because it would crash with the huge world and thousands of ppl playing at once!. for the same reason, they have to make the combat somewhat sequence based because its easy to transfer the data/calculate things on the huge server for everyone. its just that they made this really flowing and i am shocked. its going to be amazing you just watch

Reven was an incredible Jedi during the mandalorian wars and killed hundreds. he unfortunetly couldnt stop his bloodlust after the war was over so he decided to become dark side, he discovered a station ( i forget the name) which was able to create entire fleets and armies, and used it against the republic. Bastila attacked his freighter with other Jedi's and shes the only one who survived, Revan was hit by an explosiion by another ship so he was unconscious, the Republic re-programmed him after
@wwehalomixer Not quite correct. He was a Jedi who became a sith lord. Bastila didn't kill him during the raid - he was injured near death and she kept him alive then the Jedi council reprogrammed his mind so he would lead the Jedi to the star forge. Happily his memory came back and he was able to act of his own bat and saved the day. After that he took off into the unknown regions looking for the true sith. No one knows what happened to him... but I think we will find out.
WHOOO!!! Finally a game that goes into his past. He's very underrated by almost everyone i know. By far most favorite character ever since i first read most of his history.

@Drakki100 Wasn't it the Sith Emperor that Revan and Malak ran into when they were searching for the star forge? If you are correct he must have gone back, found the Emperor and killed him. That doesn't tie in with the canonical storyline. (Unless Revan was a Jedi, then a Sith, then a Jedi after Bastila save his life, then became Sith again when he went searching for them.) And what about the Exile? She followed Revan into the unknown.

Yeah i admit i didn't play wow but played it before. this game will be good because it has a lot of stuff to its favor. it attracts star wars fans, kotor fans, and has mass effect type dialogue that will definitely rid of the boringness that gw2 and wow have with pressing accept at the bottom of a text box. because thats why i got bored of wow fast- it just felt like i was doing nothing. i never played gw2 but i heard it was pretty good

Reven was an incredible Jedi during the mandalorian wars and killed hundreds. he unfortunetly couldnt stop his bloodlust after the war was over so he decided to become dark side, he discovered a station ( i forget the name) which was able to create entire fleets and armies, and used it against the republic. Bastila attacked his freighter with other Jedi's and shes the only one who survived, Revan was hit by an explosiion by another ship so he was unconscious, the Republic re-programmed him after

@wwehalomixer Not quite correct. He was a Jedi who became a sith lord. Bastila didn't kill him during the raid - he was injured near death and she kept him alive then the Jedi council reprogrammed his mind so he would lead the Jedi to the star forge. Happily his memory came back and he was able to act of his own bat and saved the day. After that he took off into the unknown regions looking for the true sith. No one knows what happened to him... but I think we will find out.

@Drakki100 Wasn't it the Sith Emperor that Revan and Malak ran into when they were searching for the star forge? If you are correct he must have gone back, found the Emperor and killed him. That doesn't tie in with the canonical storyline. (Unless Revan was a Jedi, then a Sith, then a Jedi after Bastila save his life, then became Sith again when he went searching for them.) And what about the Exile? She followed Revan into the unknown.

In WoW most of the NPCs of Warcraft 2 and 3 were re-introduced as quest-givers or bosses. I'm guessing Revan will become a boss.

@karke70 Revan is by far one of the greatest jedi turned sith turned jedi once more that ever existed in my opinion. Mind you the one thing I don't get is why did he destroy the Star Forge. He could of used it to rebuild the Republic fleet... I really hope he is in TOR as it would be epically awesome. I'm gonna call my character Revan for the sake of it lol.

@Grant2890 No, It's Revan's headquarters I assume it's going to be a Flashpoint(instance) in SW: TOR with HK-47 as a boss. (SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T FINISHED KOTOR 1) The Star Forge was destroyed.
