its like 4 vertical lightning bolts in the center of ur pic, and once u have maelstorm there's a 5th lightning bolt, but horisontal this time on top of the previous 4

You should get Event Alert instead, it shows the Maelstrom talent icon in the middle of your screen when it's at full stacks. Much simpler.

The lowest questions answer is Powa Auras its not a preset thing you need to go into the options and make a setting for each stack of the Maelstrom and place it too look like the lighting bolts. There is a video somewhere in interwebs explaining exactly how to do that!

the last one, the maelstrom one you are talking about is most likely power auras. it is extremely customizable, so you can choose to make it like lightning boltsx5 or little dots like combopoints, lotsa shit.

Those are elkbuffbars - I still run them but only for certain key debuffs / buffs that I need to see on selected targets. For my own buffs I run buffalo now to clean up my screen a litte.

MSBT is the mod that announces procs / watershield / custom triggers, etc.

Checked out your UI thread on EJ, and it looks pretty good. I'm curious though, what resolution is it made for? I'm using a 1440x900 monitor, so I'm not sure it would work for me. However, if it did, do you think your UI could easily be modified to function well for say, a holy priest?

Yeah I have a priest alt (disc usually but will run holy) that I use the same UI with. My UI is set up for 1680 by 1050 though. Not sure how hard it would be to modify it.

Just my custom interface. Hal released a ui a couple years ago. I never downloaded his but I liked the layout and just worked on it from there. I've made some changes since the vid but the layout still remains the same. If you ever go to EJ there's a thread in the shaman forum about UI's and mine is on there ready for download (the version in the video - not current).
