How to win your first round: (this will probably only happen once in all magic) your opponent plays a creature. on your turn, path to exile it and play 4 archive traps for 0 mana each!
if your opponent is playing a 60 card deck, he or she will be out of cards.

No to be an ass but just bc you can beat an affinity deck on a computer doesnt mean you can atually beat a real deck i have an affinity deck with blue and black cards that draw, gain power from artifacts, and speedy creatures and so far it has lost to 1 match due to drawing nothing but mana so seriously dont act so proud over a computer game

That affinity deck really had a slow start. Sure, when Kataki hits the battlefield, it's very little an affinity player can do, but that affinity player had a seriously slow start. Personally, I just play casually, but if I'm really lucky, I can do 35 damage in turn 4 (which is really rare, but it happened once). But exactly what is the function of Pithing Needle in an affinity deck?

That was a different Island, Mike, meaning multiple. Play against a real affinity deck if you want to test how the matchup plays out.

Affinity now plays an Island for Path to Exile - a fair inclusion in my opinion, as PtE RAPES affinity.

nope, they basically only hope to kill you before you drop kataki. A bant player could conceivably mull until he finds a kataki
