  • Does anyone know how good the call quality/duration for this phone is?

  • Lighting is key... all of your reviews lack proper lighting. and yes... camera guy is a loud breather.

  • Hello, Just ordered myself the nexus one and am not too familiar with smart phones yet. Watching your video has shown me a lot so far. When I receive it in 4 days or so, I will know a lot more already. Just want to know how I can download movies from my dvds or music from my cds onto my phone? Thank you for answering.

  • should i get the nexus one or mytouch 4g? it's really hard deciding becasue mytouch 4g has 4g and hd video camera and video calling too! but the nexus one i like it more but has a amoled screen and it looks stylish to me!!?? oh it's so hard deciding should i go with the phone i like more or just get the better one? but i like both!

  • can i buy it in mexico?

  • @HMCFvids actually no is only avalaible on US

  • can u buy it in australia?

  • Nice video review!! Maybe its time for 1080p videos??

  • at 03:5 you say: Let's take a look at the applications. And then do you press the home key, but it don't worked so you go to ''browser'' and then we go there. :D it can be annoying that google's ''touch buttons'' don't work. P.s ty, for a good review

  • Should I buy a nexus one off of ebay or the galaxy s ?

  • @99koolkid depends.

What are you looking for in a phone ?

  • @torrasque2007 A fast and stable browser, fun UI , decent app store, good video recording , durability , 3.5-4.0 ' screen and thats about it

  • @99koolkid Then .. the Nexus is for you. The GalaxyS is made of plastic ... literaly. The Nexus is made of teflon coated metal with plastic insersions. The plastic is a highgrade felt antislip plastic ( you have to feel it to fall in love with it ). As for the UI , it is AWSOME ( no stupid HTC sense or Samsung UI ). Just the pure android UI ( note that android OS 3.0 will come to the nexus in october and we are promised BIG things aesthetically and performance wise).

  • @99koolkid and as for the broswer ... you probably know it is the fastest phone browser in the world , AND supporting flash 10.1. Battery life is about 2-3 days for me ( with games , music , sms , a LOT of calls ) and about 1 day with heavy browsing and youtube.

Don't get me wrong , the Galaxy S is a great phone ( slightly better and larger screen , native swype ).

Don't like about the Nexus One tho the lack of oleophobic coating ( fingerprint magnet )and the lack of hotswap microSD.

  • @torrasque2007 Okay thanks for the help it was very helpful and Im going to get the nexus one , and again thanks for the help

  • @99koolkid you're very welcome. It was my pleasure :) .

  • does it have multitasking?

  • @ThePhilpism yes

  • In Soviet Russia, Google pays for you.

  • Only 529$???In my coutry, when it becomes available,it will probably cost around 2000$!

  • Vodadone just started selling them in New Zealand after LYING AND SAYING THEY WERE RELEASING THE HTC DESIRE. I would much rather have had the Desire but I guess I'll get the Nexus in its place.

  • Blackberry onyx or nexus one??

  • Hey Lisa,

Just curious, what do you think is a better phone overall between the Nexus One and the IPhone (any model of the iPhone or the iPhone in general)?

    Thanks!

  • great review and sexy voice :)

  • Sexy Hands. ( Hand Fetish Guys enjoy )

  • @ninakkan75 fucking weirdo

  • I agree with "o0th3Jok3R0o" ; one of the best reviews I've ever seen. Keep uploading YouTube vids like this one!

  • @dieselburner The screen automatically locks. Hitting the trackball with the screen locked will do nothing.

  • Comment removed

  • you had probaly said it but i might have missed it could i get with out contract and just use wifi?

  • In the notifications bar, theres a 26...is that the temperature? If so, how can I access this feature?

  • Lisa sexy!!!!!!! I would hit that!!!!!!

  • i'm a bit disappointed with the OS, actually. It looks/feels nerdy.

  • haha nice, i went to high school in Plano :)

  • please have auto focus when recording the clips -___- it blurs when zoomed

i thought it was ONLY my eye ._.

    but good overview

the tempo might want to speed up a bit

  • iPhone is still better and easier to use in my opinion. Apple has mastered their phone and I don't think Google can walk in and take all their thunder with their first device.

    Just sayin.

  • @homedawg60 Android is pretty damn intuitive imo.

  • @adamj425 To each their own, but I just think that iPhone has more to it with the AppStore and all that good stuff. It will take more time for Google to match up to them. I see them doing it, but not for some time yet.

  • @homedawg60 stupid fanboys like you will always be stupid. You know how i know you are a troll? You are implying this is googles first phone

  • @roastedturkey You know how I know you're a troll? You have to rely on name calling to win your debates, how... awesome of you? Also let it be known, I do not own an iPhone. I have an iPod Touch and I know what the iPhone software is.

At least Apple made their own unique OS from everything else, whereas Google just gargled up the android OS with some perk's.

  • @roastedturkey lol you're a dumbass. You don't have to be a fanboy to know that the iPhone is a clearly well thought out phone.

  • I love your reviews. I've been watching this phone for a while now and will probably get it soon.

  • She's got slit marks on her wrist O_o

But good review anyhow. Don't mind me, I'm a forensics enthusiast :)

  • @DahakaMatthew She must have her issues... end up being a geek.

  • good review in my opinion :)

  • As an iPhone user looking to make the Android change I would hold off from this phone until full multitouch is incorporated. Any iPhone user would be disappointed without multitouch. Competitors need to take this into mind!

  • what a fantastic device!

  • there is multitouch support now right?

  • i wish i could use it where i am damn that's a sweet phone

  • should i get this phone or just wait for the iphone 4g??

  • @crispyowns This phone, the 4G is coming out a bit late so if you wanna wait to after the summer

  • I would like to see you guys max out the brightness on the phone before these reviews! It's a little difficult to see the screen!

  • This phone is so cool. I am getting it in mid December, and I cannot wait!

  • Why doesnt Apple allow interactive wallpapers...damn fascists...they already makke it difficult to replace the battery. Its 2010...I should be able to replace a freaking battery.

This phone looks nice... though i prefer the iphone's music player (obviously). They do need to update their built in apps...

  • i could have sworn i saw pinch to zoom on the nexus one, somewhere....

  • @ricefarmer i think i remember reading that some apps have it enabled to use on the handset but the handset UI itself doesnt have it featured.

  • @ricefarmer you did see it. they updated the nexus one recently so now it has pinch zoom and all the good stuff.

  • @ sonicboom879 the screen gets much brighter trust me

  • I want that phone so badly

  • the screen doesnt look that bright. any1 know if it can be brighter?

  • can you put your downloaded itunes music on it?

  • @MonkeysOnRiot

    More then likely.

  • @MonkeysOnRiot

    download DOUBLETWIST...

let me know if it works for u

  • ...obviously

  • Ha, ive spoken to the developers of that very game, was origninally designed for use with the iphone, but i believe they wanted to branch into every sector they could.

  • when the phone comes on contract in the uk, you will get pinch zooming because apple can't patent multitouch in the uk.

  • @GurtLush567

the phone also has multitouch now in the US, everyone is oppsed to apple on their very vague and broad patents

  • Can you do a video with the Nexus One with A&t 3G?

  • anyone wanna tell me whether i should get this or the motorola Cliq? i crave a hardware keyboard. but i also would like good speed. i'm stuck between these two. anyone wanna help me out?

  • That is tough. My parents both have the Motorola Cliq and I actually love it. I had the G1, and am waiting on my nexus one to arrive. I can't tell you which one to get, but I will say if you haven't messed with the Nexus One then you would absolutely love the Cliq. Hope this helps.

  • @CatholicJ00 okay

  • I can hear the cameraman breath.

  • @5alamander are you a stalker?

  • @5alamander I just heard him fart!

  • @ecaep86 Wow!

  • i like this phone.

  • i want thiss phone . but i want the blackberry storn too . can they both do video ? and which one is better ?

  • @CrystalSnowfall: the storm is garbage this is hands down better

  • they both do video and this phone is way better. faster processor and better screen quality which=better videos

  • nexus one is soon coming out for verizon.

  • @CrystalSnowfall i was the same way for verizon wireless(US) only thing storm has going for it is the clicking and BBM messanger thats about it nexus one is more powerful and can play high def videos 720p on it Blackberry storm 2 cannot. Nexus one is extremely more customizable and faster everything i'd suggest you get nexus one

  • sweet phone, im gettin 1

is the $520 better, and in what ways?

  • @XmortdreadX the 180 and 520 are the same exact phone, just the 180 is with a 2 year contract with tmobile. both are actually provider unlocked.

  • @XmortdreadX it's unlocked, meaning no contracts; plug in your sim and you're ready to go lol

  • well i like the phone but ive had tmobile in the past and it didnt make me happ i didnt get service anywear and if i went to chiago id be roaming so know i have the lg triton i love it

  • Haha. That's funny. I live in Plano, TX. It was odd to see that.

  • Can i play those 3D games on a Droid Eris??

  • Good review, but use another camera! The quality is crap

  • i really like the "speak now" function. What a pitty i just ordered the HD2.

    Hopefullya it wont disappoint me.

Here in germany the nexus aint out yet so i can still buy it as it is much cheaper than hd2 :)

  • can att get 3g? heard att sim cards can only get edge or 2g via CNET

  • no! sim cards have always had 3G!

  • @PrinceFX it depends on towers too. not all sim cards may not have 3G

  • @raikanami

I meant that sim cards are capable of 3G. And the two major carriers in the US who use sim cards do have 3G.

  • @PrinceFX they said that this phone may not support AT&T's 3G service because of the certain waves.

I'm just wondering cause i want to switch it from my iPhone 3Gs for the heck of it.

  • Comment removed

  • @raikanami

true, there are technical differences between the frequency of the waves they transfer data via 3G, some of which may not be supported by this phone but this is a phone worth buying :p And Google wouldn't be selling the phone unlocked if it can only work with one carrier. I am sure it is only a marketting gimmick by T-Mobile to make sure customers do not buy it unlocked and use AT&T.

This technical difference is what enables the iPad not to work with other carriers.

  • @PrinceFX yep just to rly make sure of the ipad thing att even gave it special mini sim

  • i hav a nexus nd its GREAT. i highly recommend it. hd video, fast internet nd cool apps. alot u can do basically.

  • can you turn it to the side?

  • nvm i didnt watch enough.. im stupid sorry for the bother.

  • would the Nexus One or the LG GD900 Crystal be a better phone?

  • hate you capitalists and your high prices :( ... i wish i had money to get one :-<

  • haha! me too :-[

  • Sexiest phone is sill the Droid/Milestone

    Simply amazing quality

  • i would get the nexus one but the fun factor of the iphone is much better with all the games and apps you can get. so i say wait for the iphone 4g. but if you can't wait get the 3gs. personally i own a nokia N900 which is different kind of mobile computer.

  • @ranger1360 android has games and apps too. while it may not be as many, you still have a lot to choose from.

  • get the nexus one

  • @ranger1360

I have HK$5700,(Around USD 850) And i am only 14. Do you still recommand me the neus one or iPhone 3gs or next gen iphone!!THX

  • Wow thats almost half as fast as my laptop lol crazy

HP Pavilion Dv4 2.2 GHZ Dual Core Processor

makes me wonder how fast next get phones will be :P

  • that is the clean copy of the iphone!

  • no, its much better than the apple

  • @ (the one who made this video)

I have a question, I hopeyou can solve it for me or anyone else.

I cant choose bewteen the iPhone 3Gs and Nexus One. Can any1 help me out or should i wait for the next gen iPhone?

  • @Kasperdark

i recommender you the nexus one becuse he is way cheaper

  • @eladush1

I have HK$5700,(Around USD 850) And i am only 14. Do you still recommand me the neus one or iPhone 3gs or next gen iphone!!THX

  • about the zoom-- i think you can double tap to zoom... it's just a different way of zooming

  • one of the best cell phones reviews i've watched of Youtube till date! very informative & well handled.

just a question, which 1 do you think is a better choice between the Google Nexus One & Motorola Droid? i'm confused between the two. thanks!

  • Check out our comparison video of the two devices here on this channel. We also have a written comparison on mobieltechreview web site. Do a search on the site with "nexus one vs droid". You will find the two device smack down.

  • Not to take away your credibility, but I have a Motorola Droid running at 1.3ghz right now... lol so its not the fastest phone :P

  • Sure, and I have a Daewoo that can go 150mph ;)

  • Do ANY type of research at all and you will find out that im not lying. All you have to do is root and get a new boot.img from tazmanian_droid and you can get to 1.3ghz.

    So you fail.

    kthxbai

  • does getting 1.3 ghz make it really noticeably fast? like i want to do it to my phone only if it makes a difference i can see, instead of those 1-2 sec faster load times that i dont really mind.

  • Obviously you have modded your phone, she is talking about bone stock phones.

  • The screen looks a little washed out. Is there an adjustment to make it a little brighter?

  • Yeah, the brightness gets pretty bright lol, just eats battery

  • Nexus One ftw!

  • has it got multi-touch ? Like the Iphone

  • With the latest update, the Nexus One has multi-touch support in Browser, Gallery and Maps.

  • thx, maybe ill buy it ... it look awesome !!!

  • great review. pinch zooming works on photos, map and browser now with the latest update

  • Cant wait for this to come out on Verizon!!!

  • If only this phone wasn't coupled with a crappy provider... I would have it by now.

  • Do want!

  • НОГТИ ПОДСТРЕГИ ОБЕЗЬЯНА

  • australia wants!!!!

  • Only with UTMS 850.!

  • This is one of the best reviews of the Nexus One out there. Thanks.

  • this is one of the best reviews i have come across. thanks :) I wish Google starts selling them in India

  • the pinch to zoom has just started to be rolled out and will now work in native apps like maps, gallery and browser

  • Illegal mean good, very good! Free is good but illegal is awesome! :D

  • @peacemakerq8: Only Apple products have "jailbreak". But to answer your question: there's no need for hacking of any kind. You can install things "off-Market".

  • yeah

  • @peacemakerq8

Yes there is a 'jailbreak' for it. It's called rooting the device. But you steal applications. Not as if it matters much, most of the Android apps are free because Google doesn't make every developer pay $99 to get the Android SDK. Ah the beauties of open source.

  • Mines on its way :D cant wait to hold it in my hands and smudge the screen ^_^

  • here in brazil the unlocked version for the 3 americas costs around US$700

  • can i get this unlocked? :D

  • @OUTlashed

    Yes

  • awesomee!!! soo i can bring this phone to the Phils right?

  • Will i be able to use an Australian Sim Card on the phone?

Since the phone is not available here.

  • If you buy the unlocked version. Yup.

  • Yes you can use this on Australian providers. As far as I know, Telstra doesn't support all the features on its network, but supposedly others do. The phone is fully unlocked and should work on some level using an Australian SIM.

  • Will 3G on T-mobile work in the UK ?

  • just jizzed

  • do u get a sideways touch keyboard on this

  • Excellent review :)

  • So why am i not seeing this phone being offered by T-Mobile?

I see the other HTC phones but not the Nexus One.

  • @wrxsubaru02 you have to go to the google website and the t-mobile offer is there. The thing is t-mobile offers it's service to the phone but google sells it's own phone.

  • @Neyolilshorty MOTHERFUCKERS I JUST BOUGHT THE MOTHERFUKING MYTOUCH3G AND I JUST FOUND OUT OF THIS 1,, should i return it and get this 1?

  • If I were you I would try my best to see if they would give you a full refund. Cuz remember you gotta buy the phone from google along with thier plan (which is 500mins w/ unlimited text and internet and that's $79.99). trust me I almost got the mytouch also, only because googles early termination fee is 500 bucks!, But the nexus is worth it, lol. I hope you can get your money back. Let me know what happens!

  • defo!

  • you have to buy it from google

  • @fadein210 Also sold on Contract through T-Mobile Thats the only 3G Network it will work with

  • @wrxsubaru02 You can get it through T-Mobile Contact. But the order process is through Google.

  • which should i get?

i like virtual keyboard more, should i get nexus one?

  • FYI, if you double tap it will zoom in any app. You don't have to hit the zoom button.

  • @MetalPhoenix79 can you pinch and zoom when looking at photos?
