Spiacente! Molti auguri.
Nice attempt at this very interesting and playful piece of Shumann's.
Lol...in this country (the U.S.)...the appelation "Nimrod" has very bad connotations. If you call someone a nimrod over here, you basically have to start running the other way VERY quickly. I wonder where THAT came from.
Hello again =) After hearing what a wonderful job you have done with this, I was wondering if you have worked on the Carnaval, Op. 9? I would LOVE to hear your interpretation of that incredible master work!
Well done - ! I like your melodic clarity and mix of levels. You are certainly no banger - your restraint is quite appropriate in this piece. I'd like to hear your Chopin, so we can hear your more "slithery" side. Keep up the good work!
would you guys consider Papillons an important piece in the piano repertoire..I mean is if musically and 'pianistically' important? (you know, like for a requirement in a contest)
depends on the contest's level, usually in the super tough contests u dont hear that. but its ART VALUE is much more important than technical difficulty, schumann was young and still wrote such an inspired composition, which i really love. it has invention, feeling, imagination, freshness
why thumbs down? he wrote it in Hebrew, so what? common people i havent seen someone saying anything about french on youtube or Italian in youtube. get used to it. by the way, the translation is: unique, enjoying and full of magic.

I´m reading a book about Schumann, his life and his work.
There was an article about his op.2
I was interestet in it and so I searched it and heard it.
I don´t know, if it is the piano itself or the pianist himself, but I can say IT´S GREAT.
Thanks to R. Schumann for his work and thanks to Nimrod David Pfeffer playing this peace so god!!!!
Thanks from Germany

This comment has received too many negative votes show
A terrible interpretation of this piece. Too romantic and too vertical.
