The intro is pretty much the same as De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas by Mayhem, but played at a different pitch. Watain's newer songs are far better than this.
@TombViolator Actually, the Casus-album is clearly inspired by Ofermod, it doesn't take more than a couple of ears to figure that out. And I've read lots of interviews where Erik says that Ofermod was a strong influence on them from the beginning, the newer stuff is more Dissection-inspired. Musically they differ quite a lot from Mayhem, but their ideals and lifestyles corresponds very good with the old Mayhem.
What a beautiful Watain video! It was lovely and I enjoyed it. I cannot wait to see Watain live in May, they are one of my favorite bands.
