Nope, he was doing a flying 1000m, I was only doing 500m. Plus he's stronger than me so he leads.

Nice one ! thanks for letting me know. So you've got some of the world's nicest offroad, and a great track as well ! I saw a couple of Canadian riders at last month's Revolution at Manchester Velodrome. But I don't expect you to know them - Canada is about 5000 times bigger than the UK after all !
