And they are much cheaper than a 500bhp Supra. Driving/owning an F50 is hardly about being the fastest on the road. What's your point about the Supra?

F40's and F50's were the best Ferrari's ever built, in my opinion. When you want the true driving experience, you can't beat a traditional 5 speed, with no power steering or brakes either. These cars were mean't for those that knew truely how to drive a car. I don't know what is better, the sound of an F40 twin-turbo V8 backfiring, or the F1 style V12 of the F50. Give me both anyday.

@mham83 Well they only produced about 350, so they are rare as hell. About 300 were Corsa red, about 30 yellow, 8 dark red, and 4 black and Silver... thats 4 each. Super Rare, they costed about 500k, but if you have a silver or Black one... you could probably fetch a Million or so. The engine was brutally high maintenance,,,Developed from F1. The engine was used from the successful 333SP.

They produced over 1200 F40's... some of those went to racing and were converted F40 GTE's. Even more rare still is the 288 GTO, 270 produced and its race version the 288 GTO Evoluzione... 3 were produced before they began prouduction on the F40.
