This is Palestrina's best work, hands down. The people who get hyped up about Sicut Cervus and Super Flumina Babylonis probably haven't ever heard this masterpiece. The only word to describe this piece is otherworldly. It's almost if Palestrina were there and heard the angels singing the day Christ was born.
