  • jeez cut them some slack. they've had a different teacher every year since katrina. up until after this year playing. Every teacher is different. I am currently in the OSHS choir and we are getting better now that we've got the same teacher every year.

  • If they cleaned up their words and sang with confidence they would have been 10x better!

  • For a High School choir, this group of people sounds very immature. The bass and tenors have no type of manliness about them! All around this group should have worked much harder before recording this video.Awful

  • good for their age

  • Pretty amazing that this school put this together not long after Hurricane Katrina, which devastated Biloxi and surrounding communities, I had the privilege of taking a group of high school kids from Michigan down there to build with Habitat for Humanity in 2007. Hats off to all of you and your community.

  • VERY nice great job

    !!!

  • The Best Worms Weapon lol

  • 1. Why in the world are they singing in the gym and not the auditorium??

    2. it's really slow (zzzz...)

    3. every part is not so much on key

    4. Terrible vowels

    5. sing with confidence..i mean it is a religious song

    6. i love this song but this is badd :( real bad

7.i believe in you guys to improve greatly!!! :)

  • @udontevenknowmeatall i concur!

  • I'm in highschool and we sang this song with the Milwaukee symphony orchestra and ours was like 10 times faster and better! You sound a little childish!

  • Too slow!

  • Every other year, my old highschool puts on Caberet Night and they do this song at the very end and invite anybody and everybody up to sing who remember the song. It had been over 6 years since I had even heard the song and was surprised when I remembered every word to the song. It's my second most favorite Christmas song.

  • tooo slow. I'm in 8th grade and we are singing this song and personally not to sound cocky but we sound way better because we have speed...

  • PERFECTO, ES EXELENTE LA ARMONIA!!!!!

  • This is a great performance for a school choir. As for the speed, throughtout much of the 20th century the Messiah was performed at a rather slow rate and some older people (and conductors) prefer it to be stately. With the interest in recreating Baroque music in the original style, performances have speeded up.

  • i love how practically all of the girls are blonde..

  • beautiful voices, but the singers dont look like they are praising God or very thrilled. God like expression and adoration expressed through body language,. lifting hands and smiling.

  • beautiful voices, but the singers dont look like they are praising God or very thrilled

  • don't sneak into the first note!!!! it's supposed to be powerful from the start, and that means the first note.

  • jailbait !

  • It's suppose to be an Oratorio musically descripting the life of Jesus, not like a death march.

  • Needs to be twice as fast! This is meant to be an exciting piece! Sounds like the kids are falling asleep.

  • i totally agree with, but they ARE high school, and i don't know if half of them are gonna major in music and singing, so it's pretty good for high school.

but yeah, they could speed it up

  • i don't want to sound rude but the singers look sleepy.

  • kinda slow but its good and more spunk

  • Nothing against you adcahela, it is an ok performance, but the kids looking around and holding their hands infront of their bodies would get kids in my choirs yelled at. Most have this expression of "I don't want to be doing this now..." and that would get on my high school's director's nerves.

  • I was one of those also who yearly sang this at the end of our Christmas concerts. The legacy goes on. My high school welcomes all those who ever sang it back for the Christmas concert yearly to sing.

  • Pretty!

  • This is amazing. We had to sing this at my school, Providence, and we ended every Christmas concert with it. It's amazing listening to every voice and part blended so nicely together. Great job :)

  • Too slow

  • singing together also is one of our journey to the GOD. just believe and follow him...

  • oh wow. my music department thought that we were the only one that wore those dresses lol

  • ocean springs has good choir i believe they scored all superior at distract jus a few points lower den gulfport high school tho since we made the highest superior..but good job yall real good

  • We were the only ones to get five superiors at district though!!

  • I really think this choir blended nicely better than some choirs i have seen. Were is this at???

  • This is Ocean Springs High School, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It's right next to Biloxi.

  • Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

  • Great Performance. I love this song.
