nh the screamer was the origignal boomer the screamer would see the survivors run to a same place and scream, attraching thre horde but since they were too fast it was very hard for the survivors to see find and kill this mother fucking zombie so they replaced it with the slow hard to miss boomer

no the screamer. it was a monster they were going to put in but decided it would be "too confusing" and put in the boomer instead.

the screamer was supposed to be some crazy guy or in this case zombie, in a straight jacket and if you didn't shoot him in time, he'd run away and let out screams that would keep alerting hordes.
