this show got so much better now here towards the end. The major mistake they made was trying to make it independent from BSG. They should have embraced it more, toned down the teenage angst and made the earlier episodes like these final ones. sucks that we probably wont have a resolution to anything until possibly blood/chrome
Can't wait for your finale recap. Me and a bunch of friends got together on Wen. night (We live in the US) had a bunch of nice craft beer and geek out over how amazing it was. It blew me away. Can't wait to here what everyone thought :)
They gotta leave something for Blood and Chrome. So far, its still hinted that the 'new' Adama is a second son. However... it looks like it could be easier to introduce during Blood and Chrome. I WOULD accept the new show if they decide to deal with this stuff, and not just the Blam Blam War Robots Etc.
I'm so pissed that this show has been cancelled now. It has finally become so captivating and I want to see where the story goes, how the Cylons rebel. It is definitely the best Science Fiction writing on television today. Well, it's back to Stargate Universe I suppose.....
@ThatNerdJStone This just came to mind. In the BSG finale, in one of Adama's flashbacks he is being interviewed for some desk job. In a lie detector test, they ask "Are you a cylon?" hmmm When they were filming the finale, they were also working on Caprica. Maybe they threw in that line so that later we could look back and say "holy frak! He was a cylon too." I hope this question gets answered in some way in the Caprica finale.
Or, does Zoe, not only able to manipulate V-World, but through V-World and possibly having a Zoe in each robot, decide to use the Robots to "remake" the 12 Colonies and "purge" them of their polytheistic, ego-centric, materialistic, spiritually-empty existence?
Some other continuity porn you missed: just before Willy left the car, Evelyn was telling Willy that she has a brother they could live with who hunts foxes, echoing Adama's story to Tigh in "Sometimes a Great Notion"... it was at that point I was finally 100% convinced that Willy was Admiral Adama. But then he dies! So... back to the drawing board. It makes sense, if it was him, he would be over 70 years old in BSG.

It's a really great show, but how can it pick up any audience if they spread 18 episodes on almost a year!!! The pilot aired on January 22nd!
