My favorite show of all-time. The first 13 episodes are better than anything ever.
I do have to say though, the Newsroom wasn't a precursor to Larry Sanders, but in fact just the opposite.

great show, precursor to the office, larry sanders etc. can't believe it didn't get the fame and plaudits that it deserved. Ken Finkleman is a genius

It is on PBS in Philadelphia and New Jersey. This is a great show, especially if you work in TV news.

Indeed, it is broadcast on the CBC and over here is gets played on some PBS stations. It's pretty funny.

This is a clip from a Canadian sitcom called The Newsroom. It's similar in tone to Larry Sanders and Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's available to rent on Netflix.
